3 oz sample, The Pint Room, Dublin. What a hot mess. Orange-amber. Aroma is simply "red." Cherry, tomato (cherry tomato?), ketchup, ginger? Some unknown spice. Odd and rather gross.

Draft at Stone. Muddy brown pour, with a thin tannish head. Sweet malt, oak, oxidation, sugar, red wine barrel character, vanilla, muddled dark fruit, and maybe a hint of cherry. Iím not getting any coconut. This beer didnít really pan out.

On tap. Black with a fizzy tan head. Chocolate, caramel, bourbon, wine, vanilla, oak, and subtle cherry aroma and taste with toasted cereal grain notes and an alcoholic finish. Sticky full bodied palate.

Draft @ Oakquinox 2013. Somewhat murky dark brown pour with a khaki head. The nose is roasty up front with some grass, oak, and hints of vanilla. Weird fruit note which I suppose is the cherries? I donít really get any coconut. Some red wine vinegar, too. The flavor is very muddled. Moderate acidity, some red wine, chocolate, vinegar, and cherries. Grass, mild roast, and some oak. Kind of all over the place. Poor idea and poor execution.
