2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap. Clear orange copper color. Thin off-white head. Doesn’t leave much leave any lace. Head soon fades to nothing. Bigger body. Lighter, kind of crisp carbonation. Red wine grape flavors and tannins are pretty noticeable here, pretty fruity stuff. Mild bitter taste, some tangy, lightly tart fruity sweet. Alright, but not really my thing. The components don’t really seem to blend well together.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Cork n Bottle a few weeks back. Pours a clear dark golden color with a small white head that collapses to a thin film. The aroma was lighter, but had citrus, yeast, wine barrel notes and sweet malts. The flavor did show the Cali-Belgique character with definite barrel notes; sweet malts, yeast, citrus, tart wine notes, wood with mild plus bitterness to the finish.
