This one poured a dark orange color with a beige head. Aroma was dark fruits, barrel, hops, and burnt sugar. Flavor was similar, a lot more hops than expected for this being 3 years old. Light barrel and some sweetness. Alcohol is subdued luckily.

Pours deep murky amber with low off-white, almost yellow, head. Beautiful to look at. Aroma of distinct bourbon barrel, toffee, butterscotch, bread, very light resin and some brown sugar. Taste is again distinct bourbon barrel, sweet fruit and sugar at first, with some creamy butterscotch as well, before a balanced bitter finish. Body is rich and creamy with nearly flat carbonation.

Strong caramel and bourbon aroma; beautiful siena appearance with creamy aroma; sweet, bourbon taste; fantastic silky palate with just a touch of fizz; overall, it's all about that sweet bourbon taste and your appreciation of the beer will be tied directly to how much you like that sweet malt flavor, though it has a palate that may be without parallel and worth trying just for that ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample from a 500ml bottle, thanks to brew3crew. 2010 vintage. Real nice bourbon nose. Nice vanilla, butterscotch, light wood. Bigger body. Light smooth carbonation, more dry texture. Clear amber golden color. Minimal head or lace. Bigger bitter taste. Lightly spicy in the finish. Light alcohol heat. Hint of smoke. Nice long bourbony aftertaste. Great stuff.

Pours a clear orange golden color with nearly no head at all. Caramel and toffee on the nose. Full and a bit oily mouthfeel. Toffee and ripe fruit flavors. A lot of alcohol on the finish. Average.
