UPDATED: SEP 19, 2005 Bottle. Pours nice looking amber, ruby with nice head. Strong roasty aroma. Bold, flavorful, complex, malty flavor, some smoky notes, very hoppy as well. Very aggressive but well balanced. Strong.

Bottle, 2005. Crushing. Somewhat similar to my beloved 03 but ramped up, especially in malt. Drinkable fresh, but would probably be best with years of cellaring. Not recommended to pound the last third of the bottle. (Long story, even longer morning the next day).

Huge tiramisu nose and full of flowers from australia. The taste did not let anyone down especially superman because he can fly anyway.

Sweet nose with hints of brandy, underlying hoppyness. Reddish to amber colored brew, small off-white head. Very sweet flavor, fruity, alcohol, quite boozy, but its nice.

04 Bottle. Orange amber with short lived head. Nose was dark fruits with sappy pine hops and caramel. Taste was the same, with alcohol lingering on the palate. Not as great as other stone offerings.

04 Bottle. Kinda orangey coppery pour. Sweet and woody caramel aroma and flavors. I also got other fruits, like apples or pears in the flavor. Alcohol was pretty present. Sorta medium bitter finish, but not assertively bitter.

Dark brown with average creamy head. Woody, sweet spruce, forest after rain effect. Slightly alcoholic at front, warming, plenty of malt to balance thing out. Not bad.

(Bottle 65 cl) Vintage 2005 - 11,26% ABV in this version. Beautiful deep amber, small off-white head. Pronounced alcoholic nose. Sweet caramel, very spicy with a pronounced bitterness - if not exactly suffocating. 170705
