Bottle. Slightly hazy, amber colour, off-white head. Dusty cellar nose, some fruit. Raisins, dry dusty flavours, some nuts, well-hopped. Slick and full-bodied. Night cap beer deluxe.

2007 Bottle from Systembolaget (temporary product) The smell remindes of an old cellar. Red and clear. A bit rough in taste and to much alcohol, like barley wines often are when young. But I think it has potential and will mature well!

[Bottled] Hazy orange. Sweet and malty aroma with nutty notes and some hoppiness. A lot of dry bitterness. Grassy and vinous.

Fantastic. Had on tap at thrash zone. Poured with no head, although it left faint lacing all the way through the pint (!). Lots of malt, with the underlying hops making their presence felt as it slides down the back of the throat. Stone never make a bad drop, even if I’m not in love with the marketing style of theirs
