Cask at the Linkery tonight, paired with swordfish tacos. Always nice to get another stone tick especially one for a beer like this. I liked it a lot. Pours deep copper with a perfect 1 finger tan head. Nose is sweet and light with hints of coriander. Taste is sweet light with hops and coriander and overall nice biter.

Cask (real ale) pour at Old Toad. Soapy head, fine but sparse lacing, clear orange. Spicey nose, coriander I guess, very pleasant, + some tropical notes. Palate is neutral, much less dry than typical Stone. Starts spicy ends moderately hoppy, excellent and very unique. Bravo.

On cask at The Daily Pint. Clear medium orange with two finger beige white head, fair retention. Coriander dominates the nose with some sweaty Cascades behind and a touch of biscuity malts. Flavor is the same with the coriander getting a little more perfumey. With stronger biscuit notes--still not getting much sweetness. Semi-dry finish with bitterness at a 3. Light carbonation with a light to medium body. The score made me not think much of the beer, but it took a typical biscuity sweaty citrus APA and added some nice bright spicy citrus element.

Cask, Stone Bistro. Pours a hazy pale amber, with creamy white head. Malt, light citrus hops, and lots of coriander. Very easy drinking, balance stone PA flavor, notes of grapefruit and bread, but also with a nice twist of spiced coriander. There was even bits of coriander in the bottom of my glass. Creamy mouthfeel (..cask). I enjoyed this.

On cask at Rattle N Hum during their Stone event. Pours a hazed ruby and brown orange with a medium sized beige head. This whole beer was an experience. Right after getting my pint, a few people at the RB table got their food, so my initial thoughts were that it smelled like delicious fried food. Even started writing that it my notes before I actually took my nose out of the glass and looked up. Smells like a whole lot of coriander. Musky, subtle. Next mistake was eating a little piece of the ghost pepper that was on the table since Larry brought a ton of peppers from his garden. So then there was about a ten minute cool down time before I could get accurate notes (though it didn’t stop me from drinking about half the pint to quench the burning from the ghost pepper). Subtle coriander throughout, nice and gentle with a light crisp grapefruit bitterness. I personally liked it a lot since coriander is one of my favorite spices, but it’s definitely not for everyone.

On Cask at the Daily Pint. Pours with a hazy golden hued body and a off-white head that leaves excellent lace. Aroma is of coriander and hops with a light residual sweetness. Taste is spicy, herbal, and hoppy with a slightly astringent herb finish. Mouthfeel is nearly flat with a typical cask mouthfeel.
