Nov 21, 2009 Orange and honey aroma. Opaque orange/brown with a thin head. Flavor is of oranges with a little woodiness and light hints of honey, finishing with walnut. Stronger than an ordinary APA and quite possibly couple be an IPA, but delicious.

Nov 11, 2009 12 fl oz bottle. Cellar temperature. Pours a lovely amber red with a fluffy head. The aroma was very subtle, hoppy and pleasant. The taste is smooth with a slight bitter after taste. All in all not as outrageous as some of the other Stone Brewing beers. I can see this as an easy drinking every day beer. Wish we could get this in Montreal.

Very spicy Christmas aromas. In the mouth you’re smacked with exciting hot-cross-bun style flavours. Light and exciting though maybe the malt outweighs any hop presence a touch too heavily. Smooth and flat.

Nov 3, 2009 12 oz. bottle from The Party Source. Pours a slightly cloudy red amber with a medium off-white head that leaves some moderate lacing behind. Aroma of hops, citrus, malts, and floral notes. Balanced flavor- hops, malts, caramel, light citrus, and tea leaves. Smooth, light-bodied, and very easy to drink. Good pale ale but not ’wow’.

Nov 2, 2009 My go-to everyday beer. Perfectly balanced hops and complex aromas. The color is classic with a nice reddish hue. A mouthful of balanced flavor and just fizzy enough. British pale ale style with a California flare. I don’t know if a quaffer can get better than this.

Oct 28, 2009 Cloudy brown with a perfect white head. Slight citrus aroma, with a subtle caramel sweetness. Moderately rich, great malt flavors permeate this beer and balance the flowery hops.
My new favorite pale? You bet!

Oct 28, 2009 Pours reddish amber with a small white head that diminishes quickly. Taste is caramel, citrus fruit, and a bit of smoke. Aroma is the same. Smooth, soft palate with medium carbonation. Drinkable and enjoyable.

Oct 27, 2009 Standard pale ale. Slightly disappointed as I know Stone has some very good beers. Very typical of the style - lightly flavorful and pleasant.
