3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: APR 12, 2007 Small to medium sized fluffy light tan head. Good carbonation. Reduces to a thin foam. Light malt and hops in the aroma with a little bit of pine. Color is a slightly cloudy medium orange/amber. Darker that I expected. Flavor is kind or sharp and bitter. Little more pine and resinous hops in there with a bit of roasted malts for balance. Little dry at the finish with more bitterness. A very good pale ale.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2007 tried at the brewery following a tour, first time trying it and was impressed, maybe not quite as good as Great Lakes Burning River or Three Floyds Alpha King APAs, but very, very good

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: JUL 24, 2007 I like Pale Ale, and I like this beer. Exactly what you would expect, more hops and malt than the others, with a tart aftertaste. I will drink this again, mark my words.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
a nice clean copper color w/ a large white foamy head laces well. Very light aroma oranges a light citrus hop and a small sweet malt. Palate is well carbonated a bit dry decent coating not much creaminess. Flavor is nicely bitter a bit piney and has a very light malt w/ hints of citrus throughout. This was a dang good beer in an otherwise very blah style. Thanks to Blake for sharing.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours to a reddish amber colored body with a medium white head that has so-so lacing. The aroma is woody, piney, orange, sweet malts. The flavor is piney, doughy, butterscotch. Iíve had better APAís. The palate is mediocre. Overall, this is a pretty decent beer, but Iíve had better APAís.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice reddish brown beer with some piney hop, albeit mildly so, presence.and some woodiness and maltiness. Although there was a slight sweet malt presence, overall it was fairly one-dimensional, through flavour and finish, but for me it was the right dimension - bitter hops. Quite nice.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Good color and nice white milky foam that lasts. Good initial malty tatse, but the aftertaste is a little too bitter for me. Not a bad beer but definately not one of my favorites.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Dark amber in color, piney hop nose, sweet and bitter in flavor. I think I like most other pale ales better than this one. I think itís the piney hops that put me off.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Canít tell if I like the smell, but overall this is one of those beers that grows on you. The taste is as funky as the aroma and looks similar to Sierra Nevada. Not a bad beer, but most of the other Stones are better.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours dark amber out of 22 oz bomber. Little to no head, no lacing left. Malty, butterscotch aroma with a touch of hops in the background. The flavor that comes to mind up front is prunes. Medium oily mouthfeel. Nice bitter finish, decent malts.
