COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep amber in color, Stone Pale Ale is robust and full flavored. A delicate hop aroma is complemented by a rich maltiness.

Light amber color and makes a medium white head. Smell has a slightly roasted malt characteristic, but not too exciting. Flavor is interesting.. it opens up spicy and sweet, roasted, nutty and has a nice bitter hop finish. Mouthfeel is a solid medium, has a slightly sticky syrup aspect that sticks to the mouth and throat as it goes down. I like it, its a good session beer.

Pours a clear amber/copper color with good head and lacing. Very malty/bread-like nose. Malty flavor with a nice hop bite. Very clean finish. This beer is very well balanced, not over-the-top like some of Stone’s other beers I have tried. I guess that’s the point.

A hazy amber beer with an OK head. The aroma is hoppy sweet and the flavor is dry malty with notes of aroma hops and caramel.

Bottle, at the Freakin Frog. Ok nose, caramel, citrus, floral. Clean reddish copper color. Small to no head. Bitter sweet flavors, same as aroma, but more pronounced. Thinner body, little creaminess. Bitter dryish finish. Tasty pale ale. Traditional though. Nice to try since it doesn’t make it to Boston.

Stone Pale Ale poured a dark dingy orange with a modest white head that laced up well throughout the session. Beautiful color! Faint fruits in the aroma, slight caramel and a lot of citrus flavors in the nose. This really doesn’t smell that well to be honest. Lovely flavor! Really drinkable and a great session beer for sure. Starts pretty sweet with some tropical fruit flavors. Caramel comes out in the mid-palate. Sharp hops on the finish, slightly bitter but very pleasant. The most moderate beer Stone offers. Very mild and a good "warm up" to the rest of their beers.

A great pale ale, I like Ruination better, but this is great too! I bit hoppy, but not too much. Very nice balanced flavor

No the greatest from Stone but still a nice session ale. Copper colored with a large white head. Aroma is soapy and malty. The flavor is slightly hoppy but bent quite malty for the style. It has a strong caramel presence as well. I will enjoy this brew despite my house being washed away in a flood!

Has a dark amber/copper color, with a thick head. Aroma was hoppy and citrusy, very nice. Taste was also hoppy but well balanced and very smooth. Very nice once again by Stone.
