May 22, 2008 Enjoyed at Audobon in a bottle.
Another fine offering from Greg and the rest of the brewing team at Stone. Pours a orange-ish color with a nice off-white head. Pleasant hop aroma on the nose, meshing perfectly with the maltiness on the palate. Good solid pale. Would be wonderful with spicy food. I’m not a hophead, and this is an excellent, balanced hoppy beer.

May 18, 2008 Poured a hazy orange-reddish color w/ a two finger head (very tight air bubbles). Leaves a very nice lacing on the glass. The hop flavor is present throughout the tasting in the mouth from start to finish.

May 17, 2008 Wow! Pours a light orange, sweet hoppy, bitter. awesome summer beer! I get caught up sipping on IPA’s, IIPA’s and stouts that I forget how good this is.

May 16, 2008 12 oz bottle from a trade with franksnbeans. pours reddish/orange/light brown/amber with a tight tan head that last and lasts. aromas are hops just peaking through over a great malt aroma. flavours are initially hops but then a wave of malt delight kicks in. the malt is what makes this one special. id love to try it on tap. thanks frank!

May 10, 2008 A little dissapointing for me. I am a huge fan of the IPA and Ruination. I found the hop character on this beer on the weak side and just wanted more flavor. The malts are nice but I just wanted more. It is very drinkable still and i found it fairly light. Could work as a summer refresher if not in the mood for something a little more flavorful

May 9, 2008 Good stuff. Nice balance of hops and malt APA style. Not sure if it’s better then SNPA or Troegs PA but a fine Pale Ale none the less. A good staple APA to keep in the fridge. Very drinkable.

May 9, 2008 This beer pours copper with a small head. The aroma is hoppy, but not overpowering. The flavor is alright. It is hoppy and some maltiness. There is something funny about the hop flavor I don’t like in this one. It tastes almost metallic. I think it tastes too much like resin....astringent-like. It has a medium body and medium carbonation. I’m not sure I would want a six pack of this stuff.
