12oz bottle. Pours a nice darker clear amber with a thick frothy off-white head 3.5.
Aroma of sweet caramel and piney resin, light citrus, pretty nice. Flavor is a little bit more citrus, some resin, lighter but rich caramel, quite good but I think I need a fresher bottle. Medium bodied, slightly sticky, larger carbonation, thirst quenching.

Deep red color, thin white head. Malty hoppy aroma, maybe a hint of caramel. Sweet thick mouthfeel with a slightly bitter finish. Good beer but their IPA is significantly better for me.

Bottled. Beautiful dark amber with thin caramel-white head. "A delicate hop aroma," says the commercial description, yeah right! Its over the top with big hop aroma, but yet a very straightforward pale ale flavor and finish. Good.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 arondee (364) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - JUL 24, 2009
Pours a nice copper color with a medium white head that fades fast. Good carbonation, lots of lacing. Aroma is caramel, malts, and a touch of hops. Taste is surprisingly low-key. There’s some hops, a little bit of sweetness and floral taste. Iit’s certainly not very bitter, there’s also a bit of caramel in there but overall it’s pretty boring. Don’t get me wrong it’s a well made beer and possibly a good starter beer for someone that’s not used to hops but probably my least favorite beer from Stone.

12 oz bottle from Siciliano’s (Grand Rapids, MI). Pours a fairly orange amber, hazy, decent offwhite head that laces and dies to a small layer. Aromas are caramel malts and citrusy hops.. A different approach. Initial is fairly light in body, some light caramel and toffee, some pale malts, a good citrusy base with decent bitterness. Fairly light and refreshing honestly, but still good pale and caramel malts, citrusy and floral hops. Decent, not great. A decent Pale Ale.
