| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 1, 2008 Decent, mellow pale ale. Not as bitter as Sierra Nevada’s - but a lot more aromatic. The first smell is grassy with almost a lager smell. It’s what I would identify as the perfect session beer - one you can drink a lot of. And at 5.4%, you have a bit more latitude. Pours clear amber with 1 finger of white head, which recedes to a soapy film. There is a nice hoppy bite in the finish of this beer, but its not overpowering. forbeer (1), USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 27, 2008 When I want a Pale Ale this is what I get. A fine example of style. Peronally I would like to see a little more hops in the recipie possible some Simcoe. ratman197 (3182), Arvada, Colorado, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 21, 2008 From a bottle. Pours an amber color with a small white head. Aroma is pretty hoppy, notes of pine and citrus are most evident. Tastes is a nice blend of sweet malts and bitter hops, with some cirus hops showing through. Decent sessionable brew from stone. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 18, 2008 Amber with a wispy and lacy beige head. malty and sweet aroma with subtle but nice hops. Pretty even and clean flavor with caramel and fruitiness closed by some nice complex hop flavors that blend nicely. The body is a little thin, but makes this a good sessionable beer. It’s an alright beer, but pretty unremarkable among the APAs I’ve had. The flavor profile just reminds me of a castrated and watered down stone IPA. As far as Stone beers go, I think that I’ll stick to the stronger stuff that they do quite well.
