12oz bottle from Lagunitasfan. Pours amber with white head. Aroma of citrus hops and malt. Flavor is malty with some citrus hop notes. Solid brew that is perfectly balanced like all Stone beers. Could use some more hops. Nice session ale.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Collint (475) - Sylva, North Carolina, USA - JAN 15, 2009
Bottle, pours a perfect amber beer with a thin not bad white head. This beer looks just like the pictures that I have seen in the magazine (Draft). Flavor is citrus sweet hoppy goodness with some malt characteristics in the finish and a floral hop bite. Very clean mouthfeel with an awesome carbonation, the end is dry and bitter. Very nice beer, well balanced and drinkable.

Pours amber with an off white head. Aroma of citrusy hops and malt. Flavor is nicely balanced and tamed down for a Stone Ale, but certainly not lacking in flavor.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DSG (2635) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 14, 2009
(10/31/08) Draught at Lucky Devils in Hollywood. Slightly hazy amber color with a medium stable off-white head. Nice floral hoppy aroma with some citrus and a bit of malt. Sweetish malty flavor at first with some caramel and bready notes and later turns to pleasant moderate hoppy bitterness. Rounded-bodied.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 nj4christ (26) - Columbus, New Jersey, USA - JAN 14, 2009
Well hopped and delightfully bitter. More drinkable than their IPA’s, but not lacking in flavor at all. Good beer.
4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 snook91901 (34) - USA - JAN 13, 2009
the thing that surprised me about this beer was how drinkable it was. for a brewery that takes itself so seriously as stone this is a toned down delicious pale ale. well hopped, in flavor aroma and bitterness. the hop flavors that come out most are the sweet piney and less of the bitter. shortlived off-white head. great high carbonation, light mouthfeel. go stone!

Great IPA as a homebrewer myself I got to say this is my go to beer when I’m out of my own IPA ..Truth be known it’s as good or better than what I make and always tastes as fresh....Good Work Stone!!!!

Simply delicious. I don’t have anything else to add that hasn’t been said already. It’s always a go-to beer.
