Its deep amber colour means this beer isnít really a pale. Iíll ignore that. Its a sticky toffee with marmalade and red apple on the nose. Initial bitter thrust then plenty of sweetness and spicey spiky carbonation. Amber ale. Not so impressed

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours deep deep amber and clear. Almost sporting a red color. Head is light and lingering. Nose has a full caramel and slightly burnt/toasty aroma mixed with a very light but fresh refreshing floral and citrus hop profile. Flavor is again firm full lightly burnt caramel body with some very faint but fresh flowery and light citrus hop notes. Sweet from the caramels but firmly bitter like you would expect from a stone brew. Nice beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pine, grape aromas. Taste is a nice combination of bitter hops, followed by some sweet malts. A classic Stone APA, pretty efficient.

330ml bottle. Pours a clear copper amber colour, off-white foam head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt & hoppy pine resin. Taste is sweetish malt caramel with some grapefruit citrus and pine hop bitterness. Smooth mouth feel, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry lingering bitter finish. Good balance, quite drinkable APA.

Bottle. Hazy dark amber with a small bubble white head. Aroma has sweet wort, caramel, honey, floral and pine hops. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter, a bit too much unfermented wort sweetness. Smooth and medium body.

Ótima APA da Stone! Cor laranja, com media formação de espuma, aroma cítrico, herbaceo. Na boca, corpo médio, ótimo amargor, com notas gramíneas, grapefruit, com bom equilíbrio. Final seco, amargo e refrescante. Boa drinlability. Ótima breja!

On tap at Churchkey. Very surprised I havenít rated this beer before. Dark amber body with tiny oily head. Nose is hammy, malty, quite smokey in my opinion. Taste is also of malts, hammy notes. Nice one.

Bottle from Champaneís. Pours hazy copper with white lacing. Fruity aroma with pepper and caramel. Taste of marmalade, bready and caramel malts, with big dry bitter finish. Good stuff, but not as good as their IPAs.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a dark copper color with a tan head and some lacing. Aroma of some pine, malt sweetness and bit of spice. Taste of caramel sweetness, some pine and grain. Nice bitterness and fairly dry finish. Medium body and quite smooth, with a decent balance. Nice pale ale without being in your face hoppy.
