12 oz bottle from Siciliano’s (Grand Rapids, MI). Pours a fairly orange amber, hazy, decent offwhite head that laces and dies to a small layer. Aromas are caramel malts and citrusy hops.. A different approach. Initial is fairly light in body, some light caramel and toffee, some pale malts, a good citrusy base with decent bitterness. Fairly light and refreshing honestly, but still good pale and caramel malts, citrusy and floral hops. Decent, not great. A decent Pale Ale. hickey (32), Georgia, USA

This one on draught at Taco Mac Lindbergh, slight, weak head, but an aroma bursting with citrus and complex tangerine.
Crisp, refreshing body, not-too-filling, but with substance. Hazy, off tangerine colour. The hops hit with plenty of bight--just what the average hop-head is looking for, as evident from the striking tangerine profile.
With body, the beer is crisp and dangerously drinkable. I would have to disagree with prior posts about the heaviness of the beer.
Overall, this is a beer well worth any ratebeer advocates’ time. mcox90 (624), Wilton, USA

citrus/pine hop with a bit of malt. Medium to heavy palate. Well balanced taste with an equal amount of floral hops and sweet malt. Wonderfully smooth. Strykzone (1468), Wood River, Illinois, USA

Pour is caramel with a nice tan head. It reminds me of the Levitation Ale I recently enjoyed. Well hopped and well balanced. Grapefruit and pine hops. A nice caramel backbone. Very smooth in the mouth helped by the head that lasts so long. An excellent Pale Ale. jonno (562), Brisbane, Australia

Quite expensive here in Japan, so not something I can pick up regurarly. Will stick to their big boys. twistedviews (67), California, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 26, 2009 12 oz bottle. Amber/orange with an off white head that has hints of orange and leaves a little bit of lacing. Floral, spicy and lemon citrus hop aroma with a light hint of caramel and cereal. Sweet taste with a light bitterness. Medium body with a creamy mouth feel, average carbonation and a long finish. This is a great Pale Ale, the hops are more there for flavor and aroma like a good Pale should be.
