Jun 5, 2007 A fantastic pale ale. Not my favorite style but very good. Great grapefruit hop aroma and pleasant taste. Fruity, hoppy, and delightful. You can sit and drink this stuff all day long.

Jun 3, 2007 Nice amber brown color.Subtle nose of mellow caramel malt and hop. Smooth and easy on the palate . Flavors are rich and understated as intended I am sure for a pale ale. Nice pleasant aftertaste. I would drink this over any other pale ale hands down.

Jun 1, 2007 Pour was a mix of gold and copper that was nice and clear with a deep white head. Slowly receding foam left a solid web of lacing in the glass. The aroma was sweet sugary malt, mild citrus and some floral hoppiness. The flavor was mostly sweet malts with some citrus and floral hops struggling to break through. Nice mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

May 31, 2007 Rated 11/19/06: What’s this, a basic pale ale by Stone? Well knowing this would be good based on never having a mediocre brew from these guys I didn’t hesitate on getting this one. Anything but basic this APA excells all of my expectations. Aroma is incredibly malty well backed by some calm hops. Beautiful pour rich color, large head that sticks around, and thick lacing. The huge malt is easily felt, this is thick and full for this style. Fantastic taste still can’t believe how malty this one is. The hops are very mellow well received although not expected considering this brewers appetite for extremes. All around great brew, very drinkable could make a wonderful session beer.

May 30, 2007 Poured from bottle. Malt/hop aroma. Medium amber color, head persists with lacing. Decent slightly burnt malt in flavor with hop flavor that hangs around in the aftertaste. A very refreshing summer
