12 oz. bottle. Dark copper pour, with a big, beige head and good lacing. Looks like a beer ought to look. Aroma of toast, caramel, pine and resin. Very bitter flavor, with a good malt backbone. Medium body, lightly chalky, and astringent. Overall, this is a malty, aggressively hopped pale ale. Great flavor and perfect appearance. Very nice.

355ml bottle (Alko Arkadia, Helsinki)
Sweet caramelly aroma. Bright orange, floaty bits, Watery palate. Toffe and some walnut papers at first.. But after the first sip it’s just sweet water with some hint of hops. Another uninteresting APA.

Too bad. Stone are supposed to be better than this. The IPA is much better. Try that instead. Weak.

Bottle into pint glass. Pours a copper color with light tan head. Aroma of heavy caramel malt with citrus/floral hops. Taste is pretty malty, somewhat of a nutty note, ending with bitter citrus/earthy hops. Medium body, light carbonation, soft, oily with a slight bitter finish. On the malty side but very well balanced.
