COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep amber in color, Stone Pale Ale is robust and full flavored. A delicate hop aroma is complemented by a rich maltiness.

A quality pale ale. Nice hoppy aroma - probably cascades - but still not as enjoyable as the alesmith pale ale, which is bigger and better in every way.

I love everything that this brewery puts out, so maybe my opinion is a little biased. This beer is fantastic on a hot Las Vegas day. Malt and hops balanced well into a piney-citrus and refreshing finish. Great beer!

Blah. I am content with the Stone IPA, so figured I would give it a chance. Completely lost my interest because of the bland taste...watery.

Copper hue with good head. Nutty caramel aroma. Sweet and nutty as well when tasted but a good hopping follows, mostly orange citrus. Kidding me though. This is not a pale it's an amber. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured reddish brown with a thick, 2 finger, tan foamy head. nose contained burnt malt, lots of hops, and grapefruit. the taste is well balanced between roasted nut malts and hops, with less citrus than there was in the nose. It’s a little sharp on the palate, but I think it might just be a little too cold for the style. Next time, I’ll let it sit out for 5 minutes before I serve it. Overall, very impressive. Not as good as the FFF alpha king or nimbus pale ale, but it’s a damn good ale!

This is a tones down version of the IPA. Different than most other pales I have tried. I like to great aroma and flavor of this beer. It has a fuller body than most pales (which I like). Malty sweet undertones. All around great beer.

This pours a hazy amber orange, with an off-white head. Leaves an alright lace. This has a sweet malt nose with a hint of spice. The taste is about the same with a nice bitter pine hop finish. A good beer.

A pretty reddish amber with a thin white head. Nice, light, malty almost floral aroma. Fruity flavor of hops over a slightly sweet malty character. A little flat with a slightly bitter finish. Pretty clean mouthfeel. Decent lacing.

Good stuff. Nice balance of hops and malt APA style. Not sure if it’s better then SNPA or Troegs PA but a fine Pale Ale none the less. A good staple APA to keep in the fridge. Very drinkable.

Pours a dark copper/amber with a silky head, perfect level of carbonation, and lovely appearance. Aroma is of biscuits, caramel, and of grassy hops. Medium body. Taste is bready with grassy bitterness. Not nearly dry enough or bitter enough for an APA, it’s a good session beer nonetheless.
