COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep amber in color, Stone Pale Ale is robust and full flavored. A delicate hop aroma is complemented by a rich maltiness.

This is a great pale ale. Fantastic hop aroma with a nice sweet malty finish. Luckily, I can get this about anywhere around my way in AZ. Life is good.

Solid pale ale, but nothing too interesting. Hop flavors are not too bitter, definitely citrusy.

Iíve had it in the bottle, out of the bottle, and straight from the tap. In all three cases, itís still my favorite pale ale. Iím not much of a pale ale fan in general, but I love Stoneís smoothness and the not-to-strong citrus streak running through it. This is the pale ale I turn to when Iím just not up for Stoneís IPA.

Bright and hoppy, with a smooth, deep malt finish. Light caramel in color, with clean white head. Moderately carbonated, not too overpowering. One of my favorite pale ales, as it is incredibly well balanced.

Ah, Stone Pale Ale. Pours with a deep amber color and a large rocky white head. Smells of orange marmalade, lemon zest, molasses and resin. Flavors of blood orange and other citrus fruits, with a good earthy bottom note of carmaelized brown sugar. Finishes with a slight sour tinge, something that seems pretty common in American Pale.

Mild malty aroma. Buttery texture. Nice moderate malty bitterness. A good refined pale ale, if not a bit boring.

12oz Btl. Orange Amber w small head but good lacing tho spotty, Aroma is sl understated but well balanced w sl British PA style coming thru. Flavor is malty up front giving way to nice balanced hoppy bitterness b/w citrus, floral and piney. Dries out at end with sweetness dissapating.

Made a good appearance, poured a clear red hued amber with a nice sized foamy white head that settled into a thin, bubbly lacing, medium carbonation. Had an English buttery, toasted caramel malt nose with a floral hoppiness, a little toasted graininess, and hints of fruitiness that I think comes from the malts. A crisp, smooth, buttery medium bodied mouth feel, very good drinkability. Buttery caramel malt taste at first, a fresh, raw, rolling, balanced hop bitterness follows, a toasted graininess in the middle and a slick, buttery, oily hop and grainy finish, delicious. An excellent Pale Ale, my introduction to Stone Brewery, was a party in my mouth
