12 oz. bottle poured amber with a moderate head.. Aroma was decent but nothing to write home about. It goes down smooth but the flavor is lacking.

Almost an Amber but great BREW never the less, Perfect hoppiness for me but maybe too big for others, nice malt balance and crisp finish. Another classic brew from Stone

A very mellow amber color and a malty, caramel aroma combine to make a smooth Pale Ale. Stone’s is a simple beer with simple ingredients, no preservatives, and a high ABV. You can’t go wrong with this one.

Poured into a pint glass reveals a deep copper color with abundant head that disapates quickly. Smell is citrus with hints of lemon grass. Tates is a bread malt that has a light citrus undertone and light hop finish. Overall a nice drinkable Pale that is not over hopped.

Light copper color with a floral hops aroma. Light to medium body. Really well balance between the malts and the hops. An everyday beer. Tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pale????????Lokks more amber, darker than the IPA and bigger in malteeness. Very robust a nice change from the mild pales out there but then is it a pale? I’ll rate well cuz I like this particular beer very much and recommend it

Not a bad pale ale. Maybe too much caramel flavor in it? Hops decent. I wouldn’t turn one down if it was offered.

Nice dark amber color. Caramel overtones balance well with hops. tan head doesnt' have long life. Definitely a recommended daily drink.

Head: good for the style, nice lacing. Not too big. Aroma: citrusy Cascade hops, fresh malt. Also appropriate for style. Color: a bit too much protein clouds the brew for this style, but a nice color. Flavor: not to hoppy for a pale ale, which is nice for a Malthead like me. Too many West Coast pale ales are WAY overhopped in my opinion. This is not one of them. Very nice balance between hops and malt, particularly when the beer heats up somewhat. Nice dry finish. A great session beer on a hot day without air conditioning. Throw out your adjunct-laden Bud/Miller/Michelob swill and switch to this for the game.
