Jan 18, 2008 Amber with a wispy and lacy beige head. malty and sweet aroma with subtle but nice hops. Pretty even and clean flavor with caramel and fruitiness closed by some nice complex hop flavors that blend nicely. The body is a little thin, but makes this a good sessionable beer. It’s an alright beer, but pretty unremarkable among the APAs I’ve had. The flavor profile just reminds me of a castrated and watered down stone IPA. As far as Stone beers go, I think that I’ll stick to the stronger stuff that they do quite well.

Jul 28, 2008 Thanks to Secret Santa for this! Pours a copper amber with a thick white head. Light malt and citrus aroma. Smooth malt taste with floral and citrus hops. Finishes nice and clean, a great little session beer.

Jun 6, 2006 How do these guys do it ? They cornered the market on the worlds best brewery. Genius, pure genius. This brew pours amber honey w/ a shallow, creamy froth. Aroma is malty. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Flavors are bright and mellow with a malty fruit character. The finish has a perfect bittering yet wet. Overall: I like it alot. Nice finish, refined, well ballanced. It’s perfect.

Apr 5, 2005 Medium to dark amber color, tan head. Surprisingly lacking on most fronts, fairly malty, delicate hops is right, they were damn difficult to find. Lighter bodied. Meh.

Apr 4, 2005 Slightly hazy, moderately dark amber w/ finger of off-white foam. Aroma is hoppy & fruity (citrus) w/ a firm malt foundation. Medium, chewy feel. Flavour is well-balanced w/ lovely notes of chocolate & grapefruit & a slightly earthy quality. Hop character is evident but restrained (especially for Stone), & the finish is relatively sweet.

Oct 8, 2003 A nice amber color with a moderately sized off-white head. The aroma has a nice blend of hops and malt. A bit of caramel, nut, whole grains, oranges, pine sap and a hint of dry alcohol. The flavor also had a nice balance of malt and hops. A nicely crafted, tasty beer with plenty of character.

Jan 11, 2007 Pours a clear orange amber color with a medium white head. Aroma is of faint floral hops and a tinge of caramel and citrus. Taste is faintly citrus hoppy with hints of bread dough. A refreshing and smooth beer.
