nice dark copper pour with a tan mushroom head. nose of citrus flowery hops and flax. flavor pushes large sticky hops with a nice malt backbone to drive it. a very good pale ale.

Definitly one of the milder beers I have had from Stone, but that isn;t a bad thing with this beer. It is very drinkable but still has a nice hop backing that is signiture to stone. This is for a somewhat less argogant bastard.

Tap. Deep amber color with medium white head. Great aroma of complex hops and sweet. Flavor was full and the finish was long and pleasent. I will be seeking out more of Stone brews.

Dark gold to amber with a nice white head. Great carmel nose with clean hoppyness. Good on the mouth and easy to drink. This is so simple it is wonderful. The best American Pale Ale on the market in my opinion.

Pours a dark hazy orange with a beige head. Has aromas of hops, fruit, pine, and floral. The flavors were Hops, malt, citrus and fruit. An excellent APA.

From the bottle to the shaker glass I get a great pour with a white to off-white head. The head is steady with lacing down the glass. A very sexy beer with a dark copper to amber color. Nice tones of piney biscuit with sourdough pretzel and light touches of mustard on the nose. The hops are upfront but mild with the finish superbly balanced by the malts. The finish is crisp and never overly sweet or too hoppy. Pleasant medium to light mouthfeel. This beer achieves a balance that is rare and delicious.

Poured a darker golden/amber color. Light tan head, dissapeared. Amazing hop smell, malty tones as well. Medium carbonation. Best pale ale i’ve gotten to enjoy thus far. Absolutely brilliant. Too bad its not available in my area, as I received this via Liquorama.net mail/online. Its no Arrogant Bastard, but its definately a bastard of a good time.
