lager glass.
thick amber color with thick, white frothy head, although disipated quickly, but left a great lace. subtle hop aroma, but you know they are there. light bodied. goes down smooth. very nice balance of hops and malt. just the right amount on both! very smooth and tasty!

Pours a murky orange with a half a finger of off-white creamy head. Floral notes in the nose. More bitterness in the taste, light hop bitterness builds throughout leaving a very bitter mouthfeel. It’s solid, though their IPA is better.

This is a damn good pale ale. Reminds me of Anchor Liberty Ale. Great hop content, balance, smoothness and complexity. Excellent appearance and frothy head as well. Among the better pale ales out there for sure. Stone never ceases to amaze me.

Pours a deep slightly opaque amber color with a thick frothy cream colored head. Leaves a little bit of lacing and dissipates after a few minutes. Aroma is a sweet resiny pine with a touch of citrus and brown sugar. There was a little cotton candy right after the pour, but that was gone after a few minutes. The taste is very clean and rich. There is a nice bitter to it, some piny sticky flavors, but it is all balanced by caramel sweetness. They actually balance each other well enough that is it just a touch of bitter left on the tongue. The palate is rich and creamy. A good offering from Stone because it is a solid beer that isn’t over the top.

Aroma is hops, dark wheat bread, floral notes, and some sweetness. I could smell this all day. Appearance is a bit of a hazy brown/copper color. Good thick off-white head when poured and then dissipates. Flavor consists of wheat bread, some sweetness, rich maltiness with a splash of hops which adds bitterness. Very nice. Overall, I really like this beer. It’s got flavor, looks great, and always leaves me satisfied. Very good beer.

Poured a very clear amber color with small white head. Nice malt characters with nice hop balance that leaves a mild bitterness. Medium carbonation. Overall really good beer.

a little over average microbrew. a little strong taste but goes down smooth. worth its price, too.
