COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Deep amber in color, Stone Pale Ale is robust and full flavored. A delicate hop aroma is complemented by a rich maltiness.

355ml bottle. Looks great in the glass with a thick deep light beige foam top and a dark orange hazy base. Flowery hop aromas delight the nose and lead into a mouth tingling flavour sensation with hops flavours that sit on the tongue well after the beer is gone. Another great effort from Stone.

Poured into a 12oz. Glass. Color is amber, and slightly cloudy. Head is off white and sticks around. Aroma right out of the bottle was very smooth hops. Flavor is slightly fruity (citrus) and hoppy. Medium full bodied with a lively carbonation. Finishes bitter the way you would expect a Stone brew to. Overall this is a great beer from Stone that is a much more mild alternative to Arrogant Bastard... this is a Tasty Bastard!!!

The perfect pale ale! slight citrus, good malt. A little understated, but amazingly delicious!

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Nonic Imperial Pint. Appearance: Clear amber with moderate, foamy off-white head. Aroma: Grainy and toasted malt, nice orange-driven citrus and some spiciness. Taste: Very citrusy and fruity, with orange, grapefruit and possible some darker fruits as well. Semi-sweet overall, with a malt backbone of caramel, toasted and grainy malts. Turns more spicy and bitter on the finish with lingering grapefruit and pine. Well balanced. Palate: Moderate carbonation, fairly creamy body, very dry on the finish. Overall: One of the best APAs I have had. Complex, yet very drinkable. Slightly bitter but the sweet core keeps it well balanced. This beer actually improves my opinion of Stone more than all the extreme beers. Making a mouth-wrenching IPA or Strong Ale is easier than the subtle balance needed for this APA.

Aroma is strongly citrusy with a bit of piney hops. The flavor has a nice citrus-hop punch to it with a good malt background, that goes into nicely bitter finish. Among the very best APAs I’ve ever had, just a great ale all together.

No powiem ze jestem milo zaskoczony. Nareszcie piwo mocnio nachmielone i bardzo bardzo gozkie w piciu. O dziwo srednio sie wyczuwa w zapachu cytrusowosc chmieli z USA. A w smaku takze jakby to byluy inne odmiany, europejskie. Dziwne mam troche skojarzenia. Mocna podstawa slodowa orzechowa koncowka no i to o czym juz wspomnialem, bardzo gozki smak i finisz.

pours amber, slightly hazy, thick frothy head, good amount of carbonation and good lacing left behind. the aroma is extremely hoppy, very strong smell and some slight citrus. the taste is very hoppy and bitter up front and sort of grassy. the beer is thick as well.. One of my new favorite beers!

Pours copper-red with lasting lace. Sweet malty nose and citrusy hops. Huge caramel malt mash bill, almost like a slice of sticky toffee pudding. Overall, a great example of style if your PA style is maximum malt.
