Deep amber in color, Stone Pale Ale is robust and full flavored. A delicate hop aroma is complemented by a rich maltiness.

Almost like a milder version of thier IPA, this beer is easier to find the malt flavor in because of the toned down hops. I like my pales a little thinner, (more like the Sierra Nevada), but this is a great runner-up, and easy to drink, one after the other.

"a little less of everything than Alpha King, but rates super high as far as drinkability. the flavor and aroma are a little subdued, especially for Stone, but it’s still more than enough. one of the better pales around."

Clear copper with a thin rocky light beige cap. Crisp hoppy nose with a little herbalness and a touch of grassy resin and biscuity malt. Smooth flavor with a bit of grassy and resinous bitterness right up front with biscuit and pale malt finish. A wee bit sharp and herbal hop note.

Hipster lobby beer. Hanging out with the tivs in a hotel lobby. This will always be there. Hipsters from out of the zip code will love gargoyle. But as for beer. Always solid, always consistent, wonderful hoppy aroma, real clear not anal tort will bag on weird looking brew. Great finish.

Bottle. Pours copper with a frothy white head. There are aromas of caramel, cut grass, bready tones and floral hops. It really smells fantastic. Flavors start off slightly malty but then lean heavily on nuttiness, bready tones and some rather herbally floral hops. Clean, hoppy, dry finish. Clean, but slightly oily mouthfeel. The hops kind of coat the tongue, which isn’t a bad thing. Overall, this is a very nice pale ale, but I find myself wanting just a bit more malt character. But don’t get me wrong. This one is a keeper.

Ambrée. Beau collet blanc/orangé. Voilée. Fraiche. Bien houblonné. Belle amertume persistante. Peu sucré/malté. Résineuse. Sèche et rafraichissante. J'aime beaucoup.

Illata szépen fejlődik, egyre inkább megnyílik, a végére már mennyei tűlevelűek aromáját ontja, amihez mézes-gyantás, halvány bodzás-ánizsos jegyek is csatlakoznak, mindamellett a jól ismert komlós hangulatot hordozza.
