COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
RUINING PALATES SINCE 2002
In June 2012, we celebrated the 10th birthday of our notoriously mega-hopped double IPA, Stone Ruination IPA, with the release of a very special version that was even bigger and, incredibly, even hoppier than the original. If Stone Ruination IPA is “A Liquid Poem to the Glory of the Hop,” then Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA was an amped-up heavy metal version of that ode delivered with the force of a sledgehammer. Luckily for us, our fans love loud and aggressive brews, specifically when copious amounts of humulus lupulus are involved. The original release of this beer was so instantly beloved by those who dared try it

Bottle from Brewdog online. Nice looking clear copper/dark gold with slim white head. Big and highly tempting pine and citrus hop aroma. Oh, that’s nice - juicy fruit, pine, grapefruit. Full bodied, low carbonation with a long bitter finish and some late warming. Most excellent.

Pours copper with nice lasting white head. Thick patterned lacing. beautifully clear with small bubbles. Proper looking IPA. Melange of tropical fruits, peach and loads of pine. Prototypical BOLD DIPA. It shouts at you. Heavy but smooth on the palate. Initial sweetness with ripe fruits, more peach. Then a honeyed malt. A little herbal. Before finishing with a piney growing bitterness. Wonderful chain of events as it passes each chamber of the palate/taste experience. Very bitter but awesome hop flavor delivers it in fine style. No alcohol remnants at all. Great beer.

Again and again Stone produces killer IPAs and I wonder a lot of times if I rate them lower cause I’m comparing to other stones. In the mean time the kids they dance and shake their bones.
