COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
RUINING PALATES SINCE 2002
In June 2012, we celebrated the 10th birthday of our notoriously mega-hopped double IPA, Stone Ruination IPA, with the release of a very special version that was even bigger and, incredibly, even hoppier than the original. If Stone Ruination IPA is “A Liquid Poem to the Glory of the Hop,” then Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA was an amped-up heavy metal version of that ode delivered with the force of a sledgehammer. Luckily for us, our fans love loud and aggressive brews, specifically when copious amounts of humulus lupulus are involved. The original release of this beer was so instantly beloved by those who dared try it

On tap at Beer Authority. Orange gold pour. Rich orange rind and pineapple flavor. Great perfume and citrus sting that lingers for quite a while. Moderate body. Delicious.

Bottle: pours dark orange with a thin white head, aroma is hoppy with some citrus, taste is hoppy and bitter. Very nice hop bite in the finish.

22oz bottle. Clear amber with a frothy off-white head. Flavors are sweet malts, caramel, citrus, pine needles and booze with resinous and dank notes. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, sticky texture.

hops rock especially in this monster 22oz bomber. The aroma is bread like and very floral perhaps a hint of citrus appearance is normal nothing more or less outstanding. can hint of the very high alcohol content which makes it loose a couple of points with me heavy bitter taste which naturally one would expect full on the palette with an abrupt bitter finish. Well made beer but would only do one of these at a sitting for sure.

First, let me say that I love IPA’s. But this one has it all. Seriously bold hops that hits you in your nose when you take your first deep sniff. The aroma alone tells you that this beer is something special. Incredibly we’ll balanced abundance of hops that stays strong and won’t fade while you’re drinking it. Amazingly, each pull on this beer is as good as the one before and after the second or third one you realize you’re experiencing something very special. Simply, I have never had a better IPA experience. It is a must try.

Poured into a duvel glass from a bomber bottled on 6/9/14. This is my 2nd bottle, I had the first one a lot earlier but didn’t review it. Aroma - you can smell the hops after you open the bottle cap - simply amazing. Appearance - Clear golden color with a nice set of bubbles coming up. Simply inviting. Taste - Wow...simply amazing. Hits you in the front, middle, and the back of the mouth. Huge tropical - pineapple, peach, apricot... Palate - The taste lingers perfectly.... Overall - This is a top 3 - 5 beer for me. Just about everything I look for in a DIPA. Fantastic.

Sampled @ GBBF day 3. Clear orange golden color, decent sized white head. Aroma is malts, loads of hops, quite piney, lightly tropical fruits. Taste malts, loads of hops, lightly alcohol, resin, pine, pineapple, pretty bitter. Medium to full body, medium to full carbonation. Very nice indeed!

Sharp grapefruit nose pours a nice amber color with decent head. Tastes very good, a little bit heavy but overall I like it

Probably one of my highest rated beers ever. So close to the perfect IPA. Just a hint too much of that sweet crystal(Vienna?) Malt that stone likes so much. Luckily the hops blow out 99% of that flavor.

A great, pour. Gold in color, mild aroma with hints of grapefruit. The alcohol is a bit much but none the less doesn't take away from the flavor of the beer! Enjoy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
