RUINING PALATES SINCE 2002
In June 2012, we celebrated the 10th birthday of our notoriously mega-hopped double IPA, Stone Ruination IPA, with the release of a very special version that was even bigger and, incredibly, even hoppier than the original. If Stone Ruination IPA is “A Liquid Poem to the Glory of the Hop,” then Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA was an amped-up heavy metal version of that ode delivered with the force of a sledgehammer. Luckily for us, our fans love loud and aggressive brews, specifically when copious amounts of humulus lupulus are involved. The original release of this beer was so instantly beloved by those who dared try it

First one i had blew my mind. The second bottle was not as good. I think the bottle date needs to be within 2 months to allow the hops to stand up to the strong malt due to high abv. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Rated on 7-25-2015 at 800 Degrees Three Fires, Fort Wayne, IN. This draft beer has a small beige head with a decent retention, transparent amber body, no carbonation noted, and a good amount of lacing adorns the glass. The aroma is citrus hops, bitter and grapefruit. The flavor is moderately bitter, citrus hops and grapefruit. The mouthfeel of this beer is moderate carbonation and this beer is medium-full bodied. A very quaffable beer that is not overly hoppy tasting. It is well worth trying and a beer that I would partake in again.

Bottle. Clear copper. Aroma of fermented citrus and fruit, resiny piney hops, biscuit, caramel. Taste is an excellent balance of bitter hops and sweet citrus malt. Palate is medium carbonation and sticky, with a great creaminess and excellent dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber with an average off white head. The aroma is a wonderful mix of citrus and tropical fruits with the hops and hint of malts coming through. Taste has hints of caramel and malts with some pine. Excellent beer. Just wish I had it closer to the bottling date.

I try this beer upon recommendation from a friend that has once again proven to be a great source. The aroma is strong and satisfying with a colour of honey. The taste is bursting with flavour.

Cloudy orange pour, small eggshell head with nice lacing. Great aroma, citrus, hops, pine and some spice. Flavor is citrus fruit, lotsa hops. Very smooth, improves as it warms. Tasty and delicious!

Pours nice clear amber, small head stays for a bit, comes down and leaves some lacings. Aroma is syrupy, pine needles mixed with tropical fruits, mango and peach - that is again mixed with hop extract. Taste is intensely hoppy. However, the sweet and malty body is strong as well, somewhat balancing the hops and helping it to taste not as a crazy hop tea. Sweetness then subdues and waxy herbal bitterness lingers in your mouth for minutes. Well worth of its classification into triple IPA, mad stuff.

Bottle from Kris Wines, Holloway. Honey coloured pour with a white head. Tons of citrus, tropical fruit, pepper spice, light herb and sacks of hops in the nose. Shed loads of citrus, sweet fruit, spice, caramel and bitter hops in the flavour. Warming alcohol, caresses the gullet. Huge hop finish. Lovely stuff!

650 ml bottle. Pours a deep copper color with moderate head. Aromas of candied fruit, dough, sweet malts, and light pine. Flavors of toffee, grapefruit, pine, dry candied fruit and more sweet malts. Light bitter finish. Great stuff
