On tap at Timothy O’Toole’s in Gurnee during the birthday extravaganza with ck1. Pours a golden orange with a white head with nice lace. Aroma has fresh fruit, citrus and pepper. Taste is of sweet and bitter fruits, pepper and jalapenos with some caramel maltiness. Medium bodied with heat middle to back of the throat. Finishes to the bitter side of bittersweet, and peppery. There is some of Ruin-Ten’s fresh fruitiness in there, but the pepper and heat dropped it down a notch. Thanks for the beer! ck1 also says 14.

On tap at Stone 17th anniversary party. A clear golden one, topped by an off-white head. The aroma is peachy, with some other hoppy scents and a touch of chili. Some malty hints. There’s quite a lot of chili burn on the palate, it’s full bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Pine cones, bitterness and some tropical fruits in the flavor. Really lasting chili burn in the finish. Interesting for sure, but way too warming. 130816
