Commercial Description:
So called because of the immediate ruinous effect on your palate. 100+ IBUs. Bracingly bitter. Thick, pungent hop aroma. We would say that no hops were injured in the brewing of this beer, but that would be a massive lie. In fact, the words "Stone Ruination IPA" are what older hop vines use to cause little hop vines to quiver with fright and lose sleep at night . We at Stone honor the brutal massacre of countless hops with this "Liquid poem to the glory of the hop!" Paganism at its best!

nice pour - copper color - cloudy. Hoppy aroma, hoppy initial taste, hoppy end. A most wonderful hoppy experience overall. One of my all-time favorite IPAs

Dark yellow-orange pour with a thinning white head, aroma is extremely hoppy and a bit grassy, flavor is packed with hop and bitterness, heavy grapefruit, finishes smoothly bitter, no lack of hops in this beer...outstanding.

The nose is grassy, the head poured is pretty low and there is great lacing on the glass. The color is medium orange/yellow, and the bitter hops do linger on the palette with this one. There is good carbonation and the palette is oily. The nose also contains orange blossom honey which I find to be really nice. Overall a solid DIPA, but not one of my all time favorites either.

Sample Draft at a Stone tasting. Cloudy orange pour, nice hoppy aroma. Outstanding flavor, caramel sweetness upfront with a wonderful bitter finish. Outstanding.

great ipa but 18 bucks for 6 pack you cant drink it everyday. I made a clone of this beer and it cut the cost in half.

Yellow orange in color... Citrusy hops aroma... Flavor is initially bitter which lingers long after sipping it... Hops overload... More watery initially but palate is incredibly bitter which makes each consecutive sip less bitter.... Great beer

Pours clear amber with a frothy white head with constant aroma release keeping the head around for the entire beer. Delicious orange and tangerine aroma, pine resin and honeysuckle. Perfect balance between thick malt and sweet but brutally bitter hops. Taste is mostly orange rind and pine. This is a masterpiece of beer and one of the best I’ve ever had. Nothing is flawed.
