Commercial Description:
So called because of the immediate ruinous effect on your palate. 100+ IBUs. Bracingly bitter. Thick, pungent hop aroma. We would say that no hops were injured in the brewing of this beer, but that would be a massive lie. In fact, the words "Stone Ruination IPA" are what older hop vines use to cause little hop vines to quiver with fright and lose sleep at night . We at Stone honor the brutal massacre of countless hops with this "Liquid poem to the glory of the hop!" Paganism at its best!

Golden color, off white head with light lace. Hoppy nose, citrus and grass and a little sweet malt hidden in there. Taste is very hop forward with a sweet mid and then finished off bitter, just what you want when you grab a Stone beer.

Bottle.Clear yellow appearance with a small head. Hoppy bitterness with hops dominating. An excellent example of this style which is dangerously drinkable.

Pours out light golden orange with light head. Taste is bitter hops and fruity sweetness. Some what thick and creamy.Good flavor very drinkable. Not much of a double IPA. Not as hoppy as others.

Poured a cloudy orange/yellow with a nice head and plenty of lacing. Smells piney and thats about it. Tastes a little of pine and hops, but a strong taste of green apple peel. Kind of malty, syrupy, good carbonation. I hate apples, apples are gay. So its hard to really stay positive when the beer reminds me of that devil fruit. I dont see what people see in this one. It tastes like Maharaja-Light.

Golden beer with a white that left decent lacing. Sweet hoppy aroma. Floral hop flavors with more carbonation that I anticipated. Smooth beer with a very bitter finish.

Really really damn good. Bitter, just plain bitter thick hops. The body is hops, the nose hops, aftertaste of hops.

12 oz bottle. Pours a light golden-orange with a medium head and abundant co2 bubbles. The lacing is quite thick leaving a distinct line to remind me of the history of my sipping. Smells sweet and malty, although this aroma becomes engulfed by hops upon sipping. Hops! The hops are citrusy with a VERY bitter finish that lingers on the roof of the mouth. However the bitterness seems to diminish the more you drink and the light malt announces its presence. A very good beer and a must try for any hophead.

Draught @ Red Feather - Pours a cloudy orange with a small white head...aroma is massive hop florals and sweet caramel malt...flavour is dominated by a sweet, resinous hop essesnce balanced nicely with the caramel malt, and does so without being the slightest bit cloying...not overly bitter in any sense, rather bitter and wonderfully balanced...terrific!
