Commercial Description:
So called because of the immediate ruinous effect on your palate. 100+ IBUs. Bracingly bitter. Thick, pungent hop aroma. We would say that no hops were injured in the brewing of this beer, but that would be a massive lie. In fact, the words "Stone Ruination IPA" are what older hop vines use to cause little hop vines to quiver with fright and lose sleep at night . We at Stone honor the brutal massacre of countless hops with this "Liquid poem to the glory of the hop!" Paganism at its best!

Beautiful brew here. Beautiful golden color to the beautiful lingering hops make this one of the best IPAs I have ever had. First time around for me with this one and I hope it is not the last. I would rate this right up there with Dogfish Head’s 90 minute IPA.

A hop-head’s delight. Bronze color with a smallish but persistent off-white head. Potent floral nose. Flavor is ridiculously potent hop and the bitter hop finish lasts longer than the taste of a cigar lasts in the mouth of a non-smoker trying a potent cigar for the first time. Only hopeless hop-heads need try this one.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours an orange/gold colour with a white head. Aromas of citrus, hops, quite floral. Interesting. Huge hop attack in the taste. Flavours of citrus, summer fruits, light malts, caramel. Mouthfeel leaves a strong impression. Finishes unsurprisingly hoppy with an underlying bitter-sweet tang. Very nice.

This hops-infused beer pours a light golden brown color with a small ring of a head. The smell is instantly citrusy and bitter: orange, lemon, grapefruit. Tastes exactly as an IPA should: bitter. There are also many other notes including oranges, pine, caramel malts, and of course, hops. It is relatively smooth, could be better, but not bad considering it is a double IPA.

Woooo weee! Hop heaven (if you like ’em hoppy!) This beer exudes hops through its pores! OMG! It may not get much hoppier! A lingering hoppy bitterness coats the palate like none other! Light in color but big in its forward bite! This may be one of the kings of hoppy brews? No doubt!

Smells of citrus and hops. Bitter hits you and then taste of a very well balanced hops and oranges with some sweetness. Extremely well balanced. A+ DIPA.

Bomber. Aromas of citrus, grapefruit. Appearance is cloudy gold, decent head, decent lacing. Good balance between the malt and hops. Hops are still the dominant flavor here. Very citrusy flavor. Not quite as full-bodied as I was hoping, but definitely not watery. Good IPA, but I’ve had better.

22 oz. bottle- Pours cloudy orange with a creamy head, aroma is of orange peel and bitter hops. The flavor is extarordinary, hoppy yet balanced with a nice sweetness. This is one of Stone Brewing Companys best beers, and probably the best Imperial IPA’s I’ve ever had.
