Pours a very light orange. Big floral and citrus hops, and honey on the nose! Perfectly rounded nose! Very clean and crisp. Flavor holds to the citrus floral hops, pepper, and a bitterness that subdues the malts. Very easy to drink!

Damn good IPA. Pours from the bomber a nice golden color with a nice white foam. On the nose it is hops and citrus. On the palate it is citrus hop bitterness and subdued malt. All in all A great summer beer.

12 fl oz bottle purchased via Beers of Europe. Pours a golden/yellow colour with a thin white head which lasted halfway down the glass. Full on hops in both the arroma & the tase, with a balancing sweetness which makes tihis emminently drinkable. A really good example of the style of which I am becoming a strong fan, the more of these USA craft IPAs I drimk.

22 oz. bottle purchased at Food Emporium in Everett, WA. Pours a beautiful orange/yellow color. Flavor: Grapefruit, strong hops, and pine. One again, I’m a big fan of IPAs and this one is pure awesome.

22oz bottle. Pours a clear orange body with a finger-width, white head that dissipates quickly and remains perfectly laced. Gorgeous! Maybe one of the sexiest beers I have ever seen come out of a bottle. WOW! Aroma is bright, fruity, and earthy. Mild spicing reminiscent of Belgian stong ales (also means a light, but enjoyeable boozy characteristic). Crisp ginger to go along with the plentiful amount of floral citrus and noticeable crystal malts. Very perfume-like. Flavor is very earthy. Not distinctly grassy or piney, but flowery...resembling the nectar a hummingbird would crave. Lots of intense floral qualities. If I was ever to eat a flower, I think it would taste similar to this. Big hop flavor with not sharp, but intense bitterness. Any fruit aside from a bitter citrus that attempts to enter into the flavor mixture is immediately dominated. I can only compare it to Shaq boxing out a midget. The midget stands no chance. As this warms, more and more mild caramel creeps into the mix and balances the dominating hops quite nicely. The palate is very crisp and medium bodied while finishing quite dry. Lots of lingering bitterness. Overall, they weren’t kidding when they claimed an assault on the palate. A very interesting beer all-around...uniquely spiced aroma, beautiful pour, numbing flavor, and crisp body make for quite the experience. 100% satisfied with California’s over the top IPA’s so far.

Pours a straw like golden hue with a thin tight head, Pungent citrus aroma, Flavour was a balance of sweetish malt that was well balanced with bitterness, Huge Citrus flavour with a touch of pine hiding in there. Awsome beer one I could drink quite alot of!!! untill I fell over!!

Bottle. Poured a clear orange with a thin white head. Aroma is strong hops, pine and citrus. Flavor is sweet with big hops, grapefruit, and grass. Not much presence of malt definitely dominated by the hops. Medium bodied, finish is pleasently bitter. Good.

Testing including Ruination, Double Simcoe, and DF 90min. Pours clear pale orange w/ no head (Kinda Ugly). Aroma is very nice of citrus, grapefruit, floral hops and some sweet malt. Taste of the same. Just like their regular IPA is very balanced this is very light but balanced for a DIPA. Highest drinkability and has a certain finesse about the taste. This is going to be my 1st place winner b/c of the way the flavors work together instead of "fighting" each other like the other two.
