Commercial Description:
So called because of the immediate ruinous effect on your palate. 100+ IBUs. Bracingly bitter. Thick, pungent hop aroma. We would say that no hops were injured in the brewing of this beer, but that would be a massive lie. In fact, the words "Stone Ruination IPA" are what older hop vines use to cause little hop vines to quiver with fright and lose sleep at night . We at Stone honor the brutal massacre of countless hops with this "Liquid poem to the glory of the hop!" Paganism at its best!

12floz.....pours nice hoppy looking as most IPAs do. Excellent flavour, nice buoyant bouquet, Marigold, roses, summer pine hops, and winter mountain air. Slightly malty, and bitter, lip pucker bitter. California Cuties smack across the face this one does.

Bomber. Pours a bright yellow golden color with a large white head. This brew is all hops. Aroma is hoppy. Taste is very mildly malty sweetness, but very very hoppy. Great taste, great bite to finish clean. Great impy IPA

Hazy amber/gold with a good off-white head. Aroma is hops. Medium body, foamy mouthfeel. Briefy and faintly malty, then strongly hoppy with a very bitter finish and lingering bitter aftertaste.

in a bottle. very very hoppy. will leave your mouth burning from the hops. not too much flavor other than the overwhelming hops. don’t know if i could drink more than one of these.

pours a hazy honey color with a thin white head...retention could be better. aroma is very sweet and resinous with pineapple and grapefruit. flavor is more grapefruit with some grassiness. very light on the palate and smooth with a dry earthy finish. not my favorite stone product...

bottle courtesy of joekinty: pours a clear golden amber nice medium white head that lingers with some lacing. aroma is full of hops plenty sticky citrusness and plenty of malt that has a sweetness. hints of grassy earth also. very nice. flavour is a very earthy dirty grass flavour and a decent amount of malt finishes a bitter hop the mouth feel is nice not to thick.

Be prepared for an in-your-face hoppy, hoppy IPA. This is a beer to be savored. With a hazy appearance and strong nose, this brew will not go quietly into the night....

Nice amber color with a small white head. Nose is gorgeous. Citrus, floral and a backsplash of pine. Hops, hops and more hops in the mouth. A small amount of malty roundness keeps it balanced but this is a hop head’s beer. Finishes bitter and brutal. This is definitely all about the hops.
