jstraw (750), Chicago, Illinois, USA Dec 16, 2008 Pale orange with fair, creamy white head / Nose of fresh cut pine, orange, and other citrus / Medium body, creamy, lightly resinous, with good, biting, dry finish / Muted flavors of fresh cut pine, orange, cream, grapefruit, and resin / Very good, not quite on par with the best. kennydiaz (182), staten island, New York, USA Dec 15, 2008 IT POURS A NICE DARK GOLDEN COLOR. IT SMELLS VERY BITTER. YOU CAN TASTE THE STRONG HOPPY TASTE. ONE OF THE WORLDS BEST IPA S A MUST TRY. Travlr (694), Washington, Washington DC, USA Dec 15, 2008 Neon orange with big white head. Aroma of hops, flavor of hops, a bit over the top for my taste. Decent citrus flavors hiding behind the hops. You have to like hops. A lot. rustbucket0873 (145), Krikville, New York, USA Dec 10, 2008 Pours a clear golden with an off-white head. Light sweetness with a heavy bitterness. Hoppy aromas of pine and spruce and a bit of lime. Light alcohol notes. Full bodied with a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Slightly chalky finish. Very nice. Gypsy19 (601), California, USA Dec 5, 2008 A great IPA, simply put. This one has great balance and finish. The hoppiness here is just delicious. The brew was a little stickier than expected, nevertheless it is excellent overall even for one who doesn’t easily praise IPAs. Highly recommended. stoutbiiliards (17), Ohio, USA Dec 5, 2008 Updated: Jan 26, 200922oz bomber. A bright orange color with a white foamy head. Aroma is floral and citrus. Flavor is grassy and hops with a big bitter end. Overall good beer and I will buy more. bconley (351), Fern Park, Florida, USA Nov 30, 2008 On tap at Redlight. This is as if someone mixed hops and a mule, and then had the mule kick me in the face. I’ve never been kicked in the face by a hop before. Pours an amber color with a white head. Very floral and citrusy smell. Ruination stuck with me til I was halfway done with a Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout...it’s that flavorful. Really liked it. More please. ajwilliams (118), , Indiana, USA Nov 30, 2008 Pour is deep golden, with a white foamy head. Aroma is classic DIPA, full of all kinds of hops and spice. The first thing I got from the taste was the spice, in a peppery way. Really like ground black pepper. Also ginger, grapefruit-citrus, and grassy hops. Strong bitter, but balanced by a malty/alcohol sweetness. No alcohol burn, but some warming. The main note is the spicy pepper for me though. A huge success.
