Oct 19, 2008 On tap does not look anything special but this is a great beer. Over the top bitterness but in a special way. Just enough alcohol and carmel sweetness to give it some balance. Almost has that wet fresh hop finish.

Oct 18, 2008 12 oz. bottle. This beer offers no quarter and expects none in return. Pours a slightly orange-gold and clear. Lacy white head that quickly dwindles into an isle of bubbles. Megahops - resinous pine, earthy, and citrus - in the aroma with maybe a scintilla of malt sweetness begging for attention over the clamor. Taste is a hop bomb that lasts forever. Surprisingly carbonated for a DIPA and drinkable on the palate. A beer that provides proof of life.

Oct 17, 2008 Pours a nice colden to copper color with an offwhite head great fresh hop aroma piney grassy not as much cascade as one might suspect more in the spirit of the english hop varieties only complaint is alack of malt charecter could be because I drank this following a old gaurdian barley wine. Awesome aroma less hop flavor than Deschuttes HopHenge but still really good.

Oct 15, 2008 Getting notebook online. Bottle. Pours a Glowing gold. Nice white head. Wonderful nose of floral hops, and fresh bread. Great hop flavors. Smooth to the mouth. Goes down very easy. Real good beer!!Also used some in a garlic cheddar beer soup, Delicious!

Oct 15, 2008 Was stoked to finally find this at the gargantuan Specs liquor store in Houston. Pours golden orange, transparent, some carbonation bubbles. Medium sized creamy soapy white head that leaves a lot of lacing. Fruity, piney hops and resin on the nose. Long, seriously bitter finish -- like 30 seconds long! An amazingly delicious double IPA from those cantankerously creative, arrogant, but honest, Stoners. I wish I could drink this everyday. $14/six pack.

Oct 13, 2008 Pours hazy golden brown with a decent white head. Aroma is both malty and full of citrusy, flowery hops. Taste is smooth and malty and full of citrusy hops that leaves an extremely bitter finish. Great beer/

Oct 13, 2008 22oz bottle poured into glass. Small off white head, on top of a perfect golden color ale. Smell of the glorious hop as the bottle describes, however you can still pick up a hint of the malts. Love the flavor, having trouble sitting here on the computer rating it as I am enjoying it way too much. Very full body. Overall one of the best IPA’s I have ever had, would recommend it to anyone and everyone.
