mcmd (130), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Aug 6, 2008 Pours golden orange with a slight haze and moderate white head. Aroma is all citrus and piney hops. Taste is a tiny hint of sweet malt for a split second then a hop explosion of grapefruit and pine. Lasting bitterness on the tongue - lives up to the name. A little more malt and it would be perfect, which is probably why 10th anniversary was so good. BigDaddyBlues (39), Columbus, Ohio, USA Aug 6, 2008 A hop smackdown. Before I finished pouring I could smell the hops coming up out of the glass. Pours a vivid golden honey. The taste is floral, citrus and pine. One of the best IPAs it has been my pleasure to drink.
