Commercial Description:
So called because of the immediate ruinous effect on your palate. 100+ IBUs. Bracingly bitter. Thick, pungent hop aroma. We would say that no hops were injured in the brewing of this beer, but that would be a massive lie. In fact, the words "Stone Ruination IPA" are what older hop vines use to cause little hop vines to quiver with fright and lose sleep at night . We at Stone honor the brutal massacre of countless hops with this "Liquid poem to the glory of the hop!" Paganism at its best!

Pours golden orange with a slight haze and moderate white head. Aroma is all citrus and piney hops. Taste is a tiny hint of sweet malt for a split second then a hop explosion of grapefruit and pine. Lasting bitterness on the tongue - lives up to the name. A little more malt and it would be perfect, which is probably why 10th anniversary was so good.

A hop smackdown. Before I finished pouring I could smell the hops coming up out of the glass. Pours a vivid golden honey. The taste is floral, citrus and pine. One of the best IPAs it has been my pleasure to drink.

(Bottle). Aroma of hops and citrus. Color is an orange amber with a small white head. The taste is all about grapefruit, with intensely appropriate bitterness. Finish is lingeringly bitter. Pleasingly refreshing.

"its timing is off" Melba says. the way the different pieces dont quite merge. I’m disturbed by how light in color it is, nearing budweiser. Strong aroma--grapefruit, tomato, pine, honey. odd weigh int he mouth but very aromatic. pens with watermelon sweetness, the the hps roll in, on the piny side, resiny, but not too harsh.

This was the best IPA I’ve ever had. Had it on tap from Barley’s Ale House. Pour a golden honey color with a wonderful citrusy, floral aroma. Great taste of hops and a very floral, herby flavor. Great beer. Will definitely drink again.
