3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Neon orange with big white head. Aroma of hops, flavor of hops, a bit over the top for my taste. Decent citrus flavors hiding behind the hops. You have to like hops. A lot.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2008 2008-09-06, draught at Brickseller, Washington, 8-4-8-5-16=41
Golden color. It has a nice hop aroma, very perfumy, almost with a touch of vanilla. Good mouthfeel, with a strong toffee flavor, dry, with an extreme hopping.

Light amber color; nice perlage. Resiny hops aroma; some malt; light hop fruitness (oranges); dry hop flowers; light orange flowers honey. Medium malty taste and structure, and of course an extreme bitterness. Very long final, extremely bitter, resiny. Very good.

Thanks to maeib for this. Amber colour. White chocolate flavours, lovely hops, superb balance, good flavour, hoppy finish. Excellent. Just so full of flavour balance and quality. This stayed on the table for some time and I kept tasting it just to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. 4.4/5.0
Re-rate Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. OK, so in the bottle 2 years ago I loved it. In cask? Aroma is terrific, it’s got the body to carry it and then this mouth ripping hop on finish. For a hophead it’s brilliant. Still a good beer. Yeah.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAY 1, 2010 Bottle, 22oz, at RBNAG -07. The third consecutive IIPA this evening. Ruination poured a clear, golden body with a white head on top. There was a lovely fruity and hoppy nose with some maltyness blending in. The flavor were like hop-juice, but in a more plesant way than the Lagunitas Maximus I had previous to this one. There were pines, resin, citrus and pine-apple in addition to the heavy maltyness. A real teeth cleaner, full-bodied and sweetish, with a resiny finish. A real beauty that the_epeeist sent me. Rating: 8-3-8-4-16-3.9. 071103
Bottle, 12oz, at Patricks Pub. It’s a crystal clear, golden beer topped by a white to off-white head, finger-thick and diminishing. Lacings left. Really hop dominated aroma, with resins and citrus peel in large amounts. Some pale malts in the back. The flavor has a really good bitterness, but focuses mostly on citrus and resins. Pale malts as a base. Full-bodied, almost palate-cleansing bitter in the finish. An extreme beer, extreme in a wonderful way. 091211

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2006 (Stockholm Beer Festival 2005) Golden with a nice lasting offwhite head. Very hoppy flavor but also with some smoother fruity notes. Flavor starts hoppy and the hops just keeps growing. Wonderful dry bitter finish with citrus and maynbe also some sweeter fruits.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Growler. A true leader in the category of the IPA. Pours a clear, golden-orange with a fine, pure white head. The innocuous appearance doesn’t prepare the drinker for the journey that follows. Huge hop aroma with big notes of orange, grapefruit and pine. Flavor accentuates the hop character. Piney and resiney, this brew wallops the taste buds with intense hops bitterness. Some sweet malts enter the fore to offset the bitterness, Dry, hoppy, lip-smacking, sticky finish. A must-drink for the hop-heads out there.

UPDATED: DEC 4, 2009 35,5cl bottle. Thanks a lot to The_Epeeist. Pours cloudy golden with a fine lasting white head. Aroma & taste is first of all very hoppy - pine, citrus, mango & floral. Very bitter & dry - and very fresh & crisp. A malty background with buiscuit notes. Super hoppy lasting dry end! Brilliant and my first Stone brew by the way! Re-rating Dec. 09. 4,1 again. fresh, citrussy and harmonic with a lasting crisp bitterness.

Copper brown, small white head. Very hoppy, but also oaky and smokey aroma. Hoppy flowery and very bitter. Some sweetness in the front. Long bitter aftertaste. Hopheads paradise.
