So called because of the immediate ruinous effect on your palate. 100+ IBUs. Bracingly bitter. Thick, pungent hop aroma. We would say that no hops were injured in the brewing of this beer, but that would be a massive lie. In fact, the words "Stone Ruination IPA" are what older hop vines use to cause little hop vines to quiver with fright and lose sleep at night . We at Stone honor the brutal massacre of countless hops with this "Liquid poem to the glory of the hop!" Paganism at its best!

This is a true hop heads beer! Extremely delicious. Slightly floral and citrusy sweet. Not as bitter as you would think. Very drinkable.. 100 IBU’s?!?!?! Awesome brew..

12oz bottle. Comes as advertised. It will ruin your palate and any beer you have after that. Very tasty and easy to drink though, just don’t expect to have anything else that night. Pours a very golden yellow clear colour. Pretty solid over all.

Pours a somewhat hazy golden color, a gorgeous beer. The smell is of hops, quite nice. The taste is a hop explosion in your mouth, bitter and tasty. Quite a nice IPA.

BOOM, right in my mouth. This beer kicks your teeth in a good way, suprisingly crisp and a wonderful blend of hops to make any hop lover rejoice. This would be a great every day beer if I could afford it. The smell takes you to hop heaven and the taste doesn’t disappoint. Hops throughout, don’t miss this beer.

A good ipa but was not overly impressed for the price. Something like $9 for a 22oz. bottle. The flavor and bitterness is there but it could use more citrus and floral notes to round out the experience. Might try again but not any time soon.

Wonderfully hoppy. I love trying new Stone beers, and am glad I took a chance on this.

The beer pours a clear, deep orange-gold with a frothy head that leaves a network of lace in its wake. As beautiful a beer as I have ever seen. The aroma is predominantly citrus with floral overtones. The taste, as one would expect, is very bitter with a long bitter finish. The beer opens up in the mouth with a lively carbonation.

Very good aroma, much hops (like many ipas..lol), the apparance is a little like a wheat beer, the foam a little thin but nice offwhite colour, taste is exellent, my first 9 i think :) a little soap feeling in a very good way :) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great appearance. Very hoppy beer that is smooth and leaves a bitter flavor with each drink.

Strong pine aroma, nice hop nose. Not much malt balance. 2nd best local IPA. Alesmith’s IPA is a better choice by far.
