COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
So called because of the immediate ruinous effect on your palate. 100+ IBUs. Bracingly bitter. Thick, pungent hop aroma. We would say that no hops were injured in the brewing of this beer, but that would be a massive lie. In fact, the words "Stone Ruination IPA" are what older hop vines use to cause little hop vines to quiver with fright and lose sleep at night . We at Stone honor the brutal massacre of countless hops with this "Liquid poem to the glory of the hop!" Paganism at its best!

Pours a golden-orangish color with a bit of haze and an offwhite head that leaves tracing along the glass. Lots of spicy, citrusy hops hit the nose right away, with a hint of bready malts. For such an agressive DIPA, the malts do make themselves known at the front, a bit of nice sweetness on the tip of the tongue. After that passes, it’s all hops. Stone is well known for brewing bold, aggressive brews an this is one of the boldest. Strong resiny, citrusy hops spread across the tongue and rush it towards a delightfully bitter finish that lingers on the tongue after the brew has been swallowed. Lively palate, medium bodied with a slight amount of carbonation and a small amount of stickiness as it goes down. This beer is a hopheads dream and stands proudly amongst the great beer lineup offered by Stone. A must drink.

opalescent deep golden with a fading pillowy off white head, good lacings. A bit resinous, spruce/pine light earthy and citrus zest with a faint hue of caramel. Softly carbonated with a stingy presence, rather slick yet light texture and a medium body. Very swift buiscuity malt sweetness builds up a resinous, spruce hop bitterness. This builds and builds going into a dry astringency. Bone splitting dry lasting finish. Interesting.

aroma is hoppy and grassy but with a heavy malt smell underneath. The taste... groovy, heavy hops, pine, citrus leading into a sweet ending - you know the drill. The bitch slap from the bitterness when it takes over is fantastic, it takes a choke hold on you and stays there.

Bottle. Bright orange-copper color with white head and lacing. Fresh orange-citrus aroma. Rich caramel and toasted malt with grapefruit and resiny hop bitterness. Long finish is heavy malt and grapefruit bitterness with tangerine rind notes. Mouthcoating and substantial body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice light Amber color nearly clear with medium head. Aroma full of citrus and tropikalnych fruits, resin and a hinch of caramel from malt. Taste: full of citrus and orange zest, hinch of caramel and mango, resin finish. Medium carbonated, dry/Semi dry refreshing beer. Bitterness is acurate and it not last long.
