Poured a hazy golden yellow with a tall, creamy, foamy head. The was a large cirusy hops aroma and an initial strong hops bite. A big bitterness developes lasting long on the palate. There was a good amount of carbonation and the head left good lacing. On the backend a mild sweet sense was detected on the palate slightly cutting the bitterness. Killer beer!!

Oct 10, 2008 Very drinkable. Not "bracingly bitter" as the name states but it certainly is more bitter than some may like. Very little head, it’s got a great citrus, floral smell. Really well-balanced IPA, one of the better one’s I’ve ever had.

Oct 10, 2008 Bottle as shown. Pours a clear orange golden color with a small frothy white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a strong citrus and floral hops. The taste is very hoppy with pine and a bitter finish. Hides the alcohol, a very good double IPA from Stone.

Oct 8, 2008 Pours pale golden with a very large dense foam head. Exhibits great bubbling and carbonation characteristics. Good intricate ring lacing. Aroma of resinous hops and citrus with a malty character. Taste is mellow, medium dry, piny, resinous hoppy, with a clean incredible bitterness on the finish. Despite the flavor the beer remains remarkabley drinkable and enjoyable. Why aren’t you enjoying one of these right now?

Oct 7, 2008 Pours a hazy orange gold color with a good size white head. Aroma is strong notes of flowery hops with some citrus in there. Taste is similar to the aroma, but toned down just a tad. Hops stick around in your mouth and leave a pleasantly bitter aftertaste. Real good beer.

Oct 7, 2008 Pours a clear yellow orange, with a creamy head that lasts. Sweet citrus sour smell goes along with the hoppiness. Very enjoyable IPA, it even had my non hop head first wanting more.
