In June 2012, we celebrated the 10th birthday of our notoriously mega-hopped double IPA, Stone Ruination IPA, with the release of a very special version that was even bigger and, incredibly, even hoppier than the original. If Stone Ruination IPA is “A Liquid Poem to the Glory of the Hop,” then Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA was an amped-up heavy metal version of that ode delivered with the force of a sledgehammer. Luckily for us, our fans love loud and aggressive brews, specifically when copious amounts of humulus lupulus are involved. The original release of this beer was so instantly beloved by those who dared try it

Bottle: 2014: clear, deep golden hue, with medium head and great lace. Massive lift. Fresh hops and almost smells like wet hopping. Floral, tropical, ripe and not reductive or rubbery. Loads of malt but hard to see under the hops. Off dry, not sour, and high bitterness. Lads of flavor, balanced, rich, long and even. Just a massive beer with Huge flavor. Classic west Coast double IPA.

On draught at Bailey’s Taproom. Deep dark golden color. Aroma is pine, cherry, and tropical citrus. Taste is pine resin, dark cherry, passionfruit, pineapple, and sweet grapefruit. The hops are aggressive but not bitter whatsoever. Sweet citrus and cherry finish, with some warming.

Bottle. Copper color, clear. Light, creamy head. Citrus, orange hoppy aroma. Very hoppy - citrus, malt in the background. High bitterness that lingers but in a good way. Drink this one slow - it's a heavy hitter.

This reddish colored beer has a citrus hop aroma and big big hop flavor. It has a little subtle sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Awesome brew. I actually chose this over brewdog’s equivalent. Very hoppy and kinda earthy on the nose. Awesome appearance, decent head retention and lacing. Great taste, hops throughout but intensifies on the finish. Very smooth for the amount of hops. One of my favorites now. Will be a go to from now on

Coppery orange with small white head. Aroma pine, grapefruit, minimal malt. Medium full body. Just a little alcohol. Flavor fairly extreme hops of pine and citrus variety, a little syrupy sweetness in the background. There’s certainly better balanced DIPAs but you could do worse if looking for a big hop experience.

Bottle. Clear red copper. Floral grapefruit aroma. The taste adds a lot of peach and mango plus hop resin. A huge ipa with a lot of bitterness yet, a clean dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep golden yellow with plenty of carbonation and a decent head. Smells quite sweet with plenty of citrus notes and caramel. Tastes is sweet orange and citrus cut by a huge resinous, almost woody, pine presence. Dry and bitter hoppy finish. A very good beer.

Dark orange pour, fluffy white head. Aroma is humongous citrus: orange, grapefruit, lemon. Also lots of garlic and onion, typical of Stone IPAs. Sticky mouthfeel, super dry finish. Good one.
