COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
RUINING PALATES SINCE 2002
In June 2012, we celebrated the 10th birthday of our notoriously mega-hopped double IPA, Stone Ruination IPA, with the release of a very special version that was even bigger and, incredibly, even hoppier than the original. If Stone Ruination IPA is ďA Liquid Poem to the Glory of the Hop,Ē then Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA was an amped-up heavy metal version of that ode delivered with the force of a sledgehammer. Luckily for us, our fans love loud and aggressive brews, specifically when copious amounts of humulus lupulus are involved. The original release of this beer was so instantly beloved by those who dared try it

Bomber poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Light orange color with an off-white medium head that lingers. Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit, and fresh hops. Taste of citrus and pine with a hint of heat from the alcohol on the finish. Definitely a fan, although this one isnít on par with the Enjoy By in my opinion.

A dark orange ipa with a thick, foamy head. The nose is a combination of intense, thick and chewy malt and dry, herbal/resinous pine from the hop. Very slick in the mouth with a robust burn from the alcohol. Honestly itís a little sticky for me because of the boatload of malt but itís good. The hop is quite tough with a grapefruit astringency and a very herbal flavor in the finish.

This yearís version is a real winner. Delicious, rich hop profiles dance on your tongue. A full, somewhat breaded spice malt bill smoothes it over, and the slight alcohol burn makes this one a fantastic brew.

Very sweet candied orange and caramel aromas. Some pine and lemon too. Taste is caramel with orange/lemon; and then peppery earthy hops ride with the caramel down the throat. Some alcohol warming in the chest too.

Bomber from Bevmo Bakersfield. Nose is citrus, papaya, mango, and a hint of bubblegum. Crystal clear orange with a medium off white head. Flavor is lightly bitter with some sweet tropical fruitiness.

Bomber From MSM. Pours hazy reddish amber. Thick white head. Scent is very dank, grapefruit. Taste is nice and hoppy. Lots of citrus that seems to just keep on coming. Beautiful beer.

Stone is really good at showing what hops can do, and this is no exception. Big fresh hop aromas that are piney, earthy, dank, and fruity. Same big fresh hop flavors over a really well balanced, slightly sweet maltiness that is dangerously drinkable for its abv.

Bottle. Pours clear dark amber with a nice white head that leaves some lacing. Full aroma of floral hops and grass. Medium body, average carbo, heavy bitter but only some malt to even it out. Iíll have to try this again when I donít have a cold.
