In June 2012, we celebrated the 10th birthday of our notoriously mega-hopped double IPA, Stone Ruination IPA, with the release of a very special version that was even bigger and, incredibly, even hoppier than the original. If Stone Ruination IPA is “A Liquid Poem to the Glory of the Hop,” then Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA was an amped-up heavy metal version of that ode delivered with the force of a sledgehammer. Luckily for us, our fans love loud and aggressive brews, specifically when copious amounts of humulus lupulus are involved. The original release of this beer was so instantly beloved by those who dared try it

Bottle, thnx to Secret Summer Santa. Pours a clear orange beer with a minimal amount of white head head. Aroma of great West Coast goodness, loads of citrus, big malts, caramel. Hoppy presences, citrus, grassy. Flavour is bitter, juicy, loads of bitter hops. Cookies and malts in the aftertaste, dry finish and low carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Honestly, not my kind of IPA but damn this is done well. Like a better Evil Twin Molitov

Bottle - poured cloudy copper color with small white head. Aroma is pungent dank grapefruit and mixed with beautiful hop perfume. Taste is sour upfront then dank on tongue with a candied sweet finish. Reminds me of a barley wine because of the noticeably high abv. Palate - medium/full mouthfeel with dry finish and sweet aftertaste lingers awhile. Overall a nice iiipa. Tastes a bit like palate wrecker except stronger!

Now that’s just about the right amount of hops for me. Hugely bitter, but backed up with rich caramel malt. Delicious

1pt 6fl oz bottle poured into a pint glass. A nice golden amber with a massive amount of offwhite creamy head. Aroma is a mouthwatering hops garden. Flavor is a torrential blast of resiny hops. Slight burn reveals the high alcohol content. Mouth is left very sticky. Long bitter finish. Summation: wow. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice rich golden color. Fairly clean with almost no bubbles rising from the bottom. Small head, but it hangs around. Looks still and strong. Very strong hop aroma. Thick, hoppy and piney with some sweet molasses in the background. Very creamy and smooth in the mouth and not a hint of alcohol - not bad for a beer at over 10% ABV. Flavor is a bit of a mystery on this one. The flavor is relatively strong but by no means overpowering. Smooth malt but not terribly hoppy. Maybe not a beer I would want to drink every day, but pretty impressive for a triple IPA. Very drinkable, smooth in the mouth and no alcohol flavor.

Pours copper with a decent white head. Loads of citrus and tropical fruits in the aroma. Wow, that taste!! A malt start is balanced by a citrus middle and an intensely bitter finish. This is tremendous.

Hard bite on this hoppy goodness. Has an acidic, hoppy slam that intensifies on the palate to the point that it almost leaves your tongue dry. I dig it for sure ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
