RUINING PALATES SINCE 2002
In June 2012, we celebrated the 10th birthday of our notoriously mega-hopped double IPA, Stone Ruination IPA, with the release of a very special version that was even bigger and, incredibly, even hoppier than the original. If Stone Ruination IPA is “A Liquid Poem to the Glory of the Hop,” then Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA was an amped-up heavy metal version of that ode delivered with the force of a sledgehammer. Luckily for us, our fans love loud and aggressive brews, specifically when copious amounts of humulus lupulus are involved. The original release of this beer was so instantly beloved by those who dared try it

Pours a bright orange with thin white head, good lacing. Aroma is strong pine and hop. Flavor is strong hop, grapefruit with trace of malt. Mouthfeel is soft, finishes slightly dry. Utterly fantastic IPA. ---Rated via @jxray76 on Twitter

Great great great IPA, the most bitterest of kinds. I like a little malt balance more than this one, but overall it’s still great.

This is an outstanding beer. Big pine and citrus aroma with a Malthus background. The flavor starts with the malt, a bit of caramel, and then the hops take over. Citrus and pine, nicely bitter and dry. No alcohol until my face turns red.

Thanks to Steve Mac...from bottle to tulip. I am a ruination lover so this is a treat. A little stronger than the original but the taste is unbelievable!

Its a monster. Imagine a stronger and hoppier Ruination! Well Done. Amber pour with a creamy off-white head. As can be expected very very hoppy but like its little brother its quite delicious

They should make this every year. Love the centennial and cascade hop mix which gives it that grapefruit citrus bitter kick which is very well addressed by the higher malt content to kick the abv. Perfumey in flavor and aroma. Not too distinct from regular ruination except extra kick and more balanced. Palatte more dry too. Hops do still rule the show despite more malt. I cab almost feel the citrus.

Nice crisp apricot coloured body with a copper glow and a thinnish, fast-dying tan head. Aroma of alcohol, metal, malt, apricots, sugars and a ton of hops. Full-bodied; Super strong hoppy and resinous flavour with a lot of pine, alcohol and malt notes with a lot of sugars and some strong yeast in the back end. Aftertaste is quite potent with the alcohol, sugars and tons of hops - very nice, but super strong. Overall, a nice imperial IPA, probably one of the better ones, but obviously tough to drink at 10.8% alcohol and 65cL! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased by Phil (haddon90) and drank on 05-August-2012 in Newport Beach, California.

Pours amber with medium frothy white head Aromas of pine, citrus, grapefruits. Caramel malts. Clinical and smashingly fully hopped. Extremely bitter. Round sweetness from the caramel malts. A lot of citrusy hops in taste as well! Too bitter? Extreme caution when drinking this beer! Too fast will shrink your mouth from the bitterness. Too much will also make you addicted!

UPDATED: JUL 15, 2013 Aroma is deep, complex piney hops. The flavor is grapefruit, underlying malts, a decent hint of tobacco and a big and very bitter finish.

Pours a clear copper with a small white head and great lacing. Aroma is citrus hops, caramel malts and almost sweet honey. Taste is as expected a palate wrecking blast of citrus and earthy hop flavours. Love that taste! Sweet caramel. So well balanced, better than the original but I love the hop kick of the original as well.
