COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
RUINING PALATES SINCE 2002
In June 2012, we celebrated the 10th birthday of our notoriously mega-hopped double IPA, Stone Ruination IPA, with the release of a very special version that was even bigger and, incredibly, even hoppier than the original. If Stone Ruination IPA is “A Liquid Poem to the Glory of the Hop,” then Stone Ruination Tenth Anniversary IPA was an amped-up heavy metal version of that ode delivered with the force of a sledgehammer. Luckily for us, our fans love loud and aggressive brews, specifically when copious amounts of humulus lupulus are involved. The original release of this beer was so instantly beloved by those who dared try it

Great blend of citrus, pine, fruit, and malts to balance. Full bodied with a long finish that is slightly bitter.

Awesome beer! Hoppy as hell but it's a bitter hoppiness. Nice aroma, mouthfeel, all that stuff. I really like this beer but for me it's just not the right hop flavor to be one of the all time greats.

Bomber @ the Tenth Shrewsbury Bottle share, Dec 14. The night was starting to get a bit blurry by this point so no detailed notes I’m afraid. Lots of hoppy goodness as expected from this brewery and I know it went down well with the group.

Bomber? Between five of us at the December 2014 Shrewsbury bottle share meeting. Good amber colour, full head on every glass. Hops and more hops, each variety giving it all they have got in a battle for supremacy in both the aroma and taste. I know the brewery is in Southern California, but it should move to ’Hopsville, Arizona’ if there was such a place!

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks DSG. Pours clear orange with a nice beige head, aroma of marmalade, caramel, honey and pineapple, flavor of orange, pineapple, tangerine, caramel, bitter-sweet, medium to full bodied. Great

[6087-20131129] Bottle. Fruity citrus hops and fresh pine needle sweat aroma. Slightly hazy, orange body with a quick foamy white head. Bitter orange peel and grainy toasted malt flavour. Medium-full body. Tasty. (7/3/8/3/15) 3.6

22 oz bottle. Aroma: malty and piney, with hints of caramel, barnyard, and resin. Taste/Palate: very sweet; finishes crisp, with a long bitterness. Drank this immediately following the regular Ruination. Very interesting comparison.

Poured from a 22. Aroma is citrusy and "pine-sol"-ish. Flavor has a distinct sourness to it. Could be the grapefruit flavor. Did not enjoy this one as much Ruination.

A Thanksgiving treat for myself with my smoked turkey. Pours a hazy marmalade with a thin white head. Pine and Peppermint balanced with Caramel Malt. It’s very hoppy for sure, but still quite balanced.

Whoa! I got a growler of this beast of an IPA! While pouring this golden brew I smelled its hop aroma of pineapple, peach, oranges and grapefruit. Sweet taste up front with a punch of hoppy bitterness toward the finish. Nicely balanced with a nice boozy burn. Great IIPA!
