4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 22oz bottle. Absolutely beautiful, deep honey/amber with a small white head. Aroma is, as expected, citrus and pine, but not as intense for such a hoppy brew. Slightly sticky, light lacing that eventually slides off. Definitely not for those who donít like bitter, but for those of us who do itís a treat as itís quite heavy on that point. Slight alcohol taste comes through, but does not detract. Full body and lively on the palate with a long, bitter finish. Stone Brewery delivered a real treat with this one.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance: this beer pours with a smaller beige head without much head retention, its a very nice clear bronze to orange color,
Aroma: citrus, creamy, bread, alcohol, egg, moderately roasted malt, very complex
Taste: has a very strong maltiness but is very bitter at the same time, citrus, alcohol, has a spice to it as well,
Palate: heavy mouthfeel, bitter aftertaste, alcohol burn, average carbonation
Overall: pretty much what you can expect from stone, just an over the top beer, very good, a beer like this is fun but you canít drink much of it at 11% abv

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Has the effect of a malty Ruination. They doubled, or elevened all of the ingredients. Only doing so, takes away the fruity flavors of itís namesake.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 ounce bottle
When I came across a fresh bottling of this at a great price I could not pass up the chance to sample another world class IPA. A true palate wrecker, it nonetheless has a grace that makes you reach for the bottle the second your glass is empty. I donít know if this will somehow get folded into the regular rotation but it goes right up there with the rest of their line as a great beer accessible to nearly everyone.
Aroma / Appearance - A polished bronze body shimmers with life. The gentle vanilla head sits like a layer of crust. Carbonation bubbles and adds an extra sparkle. Grassy resin rises like an uncut field during the peak of the summer. Bread dough adds some depth without washing out the assertive bitterness.
Flavor / Palate - Carbonation tickles the mouth and scrubs away any residual tastes. Preparing for the wave of bitterness to come, it unleashes a torrent of lemons, resin, and bright hops. This is a great companion to the usual Ruination and one that everybody should get as soon as they can.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
22 oz. bomber. Poured slightly cloudy burnt orange with thin white head. Flavor is big, sweet malt with pine resin and tropical fruit. Lingering, somewhat tongue stripping bitterness. Tad chewy and boozy. As expected from Stone, yet another solid hop bomb.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Deep gold with copper tones, dense lace.
Full body, silky texture probably due to the high alcohol which is also responsible for the intense burn, very long palate, sweet and flavorful finish.
Bittersweet to a high degree, balanced,
Alcoholic and malty taste, reminds one of spirits. Delicious, all the same.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled on draft att 3R6P this beer poured a dark orange-tan color with a large creamy orange-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tangy and sweetish pine, resin, a bit of bread and caramel. The flavor was bitter, and tangy pine, resin, grapefruit, pineapple and had a sour caramel and tobacco undertone. Intense. Long finish and full bodied. Interesting.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Amber color with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet caramel with a bit of fruity hops. Flavor is sweet, with notes of caramel and piney hops. A little resinous in the finish. Very well balanced, like a less aggressive Ruination.
