COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In spring 2011, Stone bought the farm, literally, taking over 19 acres of fertile Southern California soil where we now grow pristine fruits, vegetables, herbs and more for our Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens restaurants. A taste of our homespun farm-to-tableism is provided in this farmhouse ale stoked with lemon zest, plus lemon thyme and lavender straight from Stone Farms. This spring-to-summer saison is citric and herbal on the palate with a dry, peppery finish. Thanks to the infusion of fresh West Coast ingredients, this isn’t your everyday saison. It’s our saison—100% Stone. Celebrate the sunny season with an authentic taste of our farm and, with it, our commitment to quality.

Poured from bottle, lakeside, after riding singletrack with friends, paired with brats off the grill. Quite floral and fruity, lemon aroma and body like a wit. Decent brew, but not as awesome as other Stone offerings. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Antenna America. Pale gold with a fluffy head that goes quickly. Soft fruit and ginger aroma. Ginger dominates the flavour too much for my liking.

Bottle from giant eagle new Albany. Nose is banana and cereal. Smooth and crisp with banana and lavender and pepper all in there. Dry finish for sure. Ok but not amazing.

Bottle. Slightly hazy bright brass colored body with a long lasting and dense bright white head. A nose of herbs and hints of old leather are up front. I also got stone fruit and dried flowers. The taste was black tea and wood along with leather and wood. The finish was medicinal and a little spicy. A nicely done saison that is on the drier and spicier end of the spectrum.

Clear gold, coarse eggshell head. Coriander, bananas, clove on the nose. Came together nicely, but not boldly on the tongue like I expect from Stone. Earthy, some celery, mild berries and spice in a dry finish. Always love the painted bottles from Stone.

Poured a bright light golden with an off white head. Aroma of sweet and spicy saison yeast. Light body, flavour as the aroma, moderately sweet, lightly bitter, quite peppery.

Bottle. Yeast, lemon, wheat malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet yeasty white pepper, coriander, lemon, malt and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Nice body.

Draught @ Stone Brewing Tap Room, San Diego, CA

Pours yellowish golden with a small head. Aroma of zesty lemon, grapefruit and yeasty notes. Taste is zesty lemony and grapefruity with some doughy yeastiness and earthy notes. Finish is stuffy and slightly yeasty. Decent.

Draught @ Stone Brewing Taproom, San Diego, CA. Pours a golden colour with a small head. Aroma of Saison yeast, wet earth and spiciness. Flavour of grainy malts, floral hops, white bread and yeastiness. Light bodied. Dry mouthfeel. Not complex and way too straightforward.
