3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. A lightly hazy golden beer with a dense, off-white head. The aroma is rather spiced, cinnamon and cardamom I think, with some citrus and resin. It’s dry and medium bodied with a tad too much carbonation. Nice bitterness in the flavor, with citrus, some herbal and spiced hints, some black pepper and a faint chili-like touch. Orange zest hints and some pine cones. Long, fruity and lighlty spiced finish. Nothing impressive going on here. Guess it would have been more interesting without the spices. 150622

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle @ home. Hazed golden pour with a white head. Smells like lemon, grass, and herbs. Quite tangy and zesty. A little soap and paper...maybe some cracker. The flavor is kind of dry and spicy. A lot of lemon and herbs. Maybe some sage? Coriander, a little cracker, and soap. Weird finish I can’t quite describe.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Poured clear golden color with an average to large frothy white head that was lasting with good lacing. Moderate citrus, herbal aroma. Medium body with a slick dry texture and soft carbonation. Medium herbal sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where exceeded with a solid change of pace brew.
