Solid from start to finish. solid porter with a lite smoked effect. Small disippating head

At the stone brewery on tap. Pours blank with long lasting tan head. Aroma of smoke with burnt coffee and chocolate. A subtle bitterness throughout No smoke flavor with hints of coffee. High carbonation.

Reddish brown of color with a beige head. An aroma of smoke, liqurice, roasted and weak prunes. A flavor of smoke, roasted, bitter, coal and weak sweets.

Dezent rauchiger Antrunk, der, wie das Röstaroma, zum Mittelteil noch einmal deutlich steigt. Die Rauchigkeit geht dann in den Röstnoten im Verbund mit der Süße unter. Hier auch etwas hopfig, deutlicher als die Rauchigkeit. Nett aber bitte mehr Rauchigkeit. 13/10/10/10//10

Gedronken bij Moeder Lambic in Brussel, pik zwarte kleur, een wit/bruine kraag, koffiegeur, chocolade. Smaakte wel zoet, lichte koffie en chocolade smaak.

Draught @ Moeder Lambic during the Stone vs Moeder Lambic event. Pitch black, opague with an off-white head. Smells smokey, coffee and chocolate. Tastes sweet, coffee. Full body, great carbo.

A mighty fine smoked porter! This brew poured up a dark ruby-brown colored body with a nice, foamy mocha-colored head with good retention and amazing lacing effects on the glass. Aromas of heavy cream, coffee, sugars, chocolate and sweet malt. Flavors of the same but light hints of smoke and roasted malts mix in at the finish. Medium- to Full-bodied, thick and creamy; definitely not a brew for those that don’t like big thick brews; somewhat chewy and that’s the way I like them!
