4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
660ml bottle from Beers Of Europe, pours almost pitch black with a fluffy tan head that stays. Smell is tons of mango and citrus aswell as plenty of malt. Taste is huge extremely complex, lots of roasted malt, liquorice, some coffee, off set with huge hop bitterness, plenty of grapefruit, citrus and mango. A very long and bitter finish, medium carbonation and medium-full bodied. Absolutely stunning beer, the best black IPA Iíve had thus far and possible my favourite beer from possibly my favourite brewery.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma- Green pine and pungent. Almost like if a cat urinated on your christmas tree.. I dont mean this in a bad way i am just trying to express the power behind the smell.
Appearance- Deep deep red amber with lacy cream head. Good lacing.
Taste- Piney with potent hops and floral boquet. Very nice.
Palate- medium body with a smooth dryness.
Overall- Great "punch you in your taste buds" boldness. Like a mix between a porter and an ipa. Very unique and worth trying.

Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, grape, pine and hint of chocolate. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, piney, citrus and grape finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
An interesting mix of IPA and stout. Fantastic color with a rich head. Tastes like a bitter IPA with a small hint of burnt coffee. As expected of Stone, it overpowers the palate, but not in a bad way. Overall a pretty tasty beer.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Black beer with big luxuriant tan foam on top. Antigravity lacing that sticks to the top of a tulip glass. Big juicy IPA hop profile to the aroma, more floral than fruity or earthy. The roasted malts only really contributed to the aroma towards the end as it warmed up beyond serving temp. Well integrated black ale, the floral hop flavors go well with the stout malts. Bitter and charred aftertaste that lingers a bit too long. Thick mouthfeel with a bit of alcohol burn. Excellent beer!
