Aggy360 (115), Anchorage/ Vista,CA, Alaska, USA Apr 5, 2009 A super beer. On tap at the brewery, this frankinstine of a brew was a great accident by the brewers at Stone. Strong fruit aroma and very sweet taste. I really enjoyed this beer. I an glad I got to try a one time beer on my latest trip to SoCal. Snojerk321 (1914), San Diego, California, USA Mar 13, 2009 On tap at Stone. Pours a medium golden orange with a 2 finger off white head that left good lacing. Nose was lightly fruity with some Belgian yeast and funk. Flavor was much the same while being dry and crisp, very refeshing. daleharshman (181), San Diego, California, USA Feb 27, 2009 1L growler fill from Stone Brewery (Escondido, CA). Pours golden-brown with a large white head. Aroma is somewhat yeasty with notes of light fruit. Flavor is predominately tart with some light fruit sweetness. Noticeable hops, but this is much closer to tasting like a straight-up Belgian than the Stone Cali-Belgique ale.
