COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed by Steve Gonzalez, Research and Small Batch Manager at Stone Brewing Co.:

Brewmaster Mitch Steele asked me to brew a saison so I came up with a recipe that had herbal notes from the noble hops, citrus, and a hint of pepper from the Grains of Paradise. When the question of what to name the beer came up, I suggested Tiger Cub. Tiger Cub was my nickname for my wife Jenn. I had told her that I would name a really special beer after her someday, but she passed away before I could do so. When the opportunity to name the beer presented itself I though this saison, something she would have liked, would be the perfect opportunity to make good on my promise

Pours a mostly clear deep golden faint orange with an off white head. Aroma is sweet, mild citrus, white wine, hint of sour. Flavor is mild citrus, tangy. Light in body and very drinkable. Delicious.

Orange gold pour with white head. Aroma and taste a alcholic apricot. Not a favorite of mine. Still, not a bad beer.

On tap at O Neills. Watery, with some nice earthiness. A little spicy, buy with some weird esters. Just a so so beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Saraveza, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Nose of nail polish remover, white wine and apricots. Flavour fortunately doesn’t bring out as much of the cosmetic notes, with notes of apricot and dry vinous oak. Something wrong here - quite a bit of off-notes in this. Not good.

On tap at Taps in Petaluma. Pours a cloudy pale amber color. Nice peppery saison with mild sweetness.

Tap @ Stone O’Side. Nice looking beer with a hazy glowing sunset color. Aroma is oddly fruity with grain and some light bitterness. Kind of a wine like flavor (white) with dry grain and some bitterness. Some light soap as well. Lightly coating mouthfeel. Pretty subpar for the style but okay on the whole.

Hazy gold, minimal head. Nose is funky yet herbal and floral, kinda like potpourri with a bit of hay. Flavor is very estery with slight boozy notes of dough and hay and light pale grains, with a kinda-hoppy leafy hop and floral resin finish.

Draft at Stone Winter Storm. A sold Saison. For a brewery that’s not really known for the style they dialed it in pretty well. The name makes me want to punch myself.

Brewvival Trip Beer 99. Draft at Brewvival. Pours a clear vibrant copper color with a thin creamy off-white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of bready malts, tart stone fruits, earth and spice. The taste is bread, candi sugar, herbal notes, spice and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied.

Tap sample. Poured a clear golden color with an average to large frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus and yeast aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium citrus yeast flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectation where met.
