Taster on tap. Black beer, opaque, and has good adhesion and a stable head. Smells like light berries and mixed fruits. A good dark beer for the summer, hallelujah! Righteous taste, quite different, session-able. Decidedly a mix of the two styles, wit and black ale, light palate, just a little bitter at the end.

Draught at Stone World Bistro Liberty Station, San Diego. Black beer with a nice lasting offwhite head. Hoppy perfume aroma, grassy, floral, roasted, some chocolate. Floral hop flavor, perfume, grass, hay, chocolate snd roasted notes. Hoppy roasted finish with perfume, grass and some grapefruit.

Draft at the liberty station brewpub. Deep black color with a wheaty head that fades. Taste us lighter then it looks. Decent one ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at brewery. Black with a fizzy white head. Sweet caramel chocolate and roasted grain aroma and taste with a good chocolate covered orange finish. Nice silky palate.

On draft, pours black with thick off-white head. Roasted aroma; mild. Nice roasted flavor but pretty easy going. Coriander, mild yeast, The only black witbier I’ve ever had. Good on a warm day at the mother ship (Stone’s Liberty Station) - Happy 4th of July!

Black in color with a khaki head. Smells like hot dogs. Coriander, roasted malt, wheat, and some yeast. Just can’t get past the hot dogs. The flavor has a really strong coriander note, some roast, wheat, and yeast. Light citrus, and light hot dogs.

On draft at liberty station... Aroma is floral, slightly potpourri... Flavor is surprisingly thin, notes of roasted malts and hint of hops on the palate... Decent ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at Stone Bistro. Pours a black color, with a small off-white head. Mostly dry roast, light wheat malt, spice, and a touch of ground black pepper. Very light beer, with a light body. Weird.

Tap @ Stone O’Side. Black pour with a tan head. Aroma is light, dry clove and spice which presents as lavender with some wheat grist and background roast. Taste is dry roasted wheat with light spice, perhaps pepper. Dry, clean mouthfeel. Nice beer.
